"No food after 2.30pm Even something as simple as mushrooms on toast. Basically turns into a coffee/cake shop there after Also went in good Friday at 1.30pm to order Mushrooms on toast...to be told they gad ran out even though i was staring at 2 big beautiful bowls of fresh mushrooms/portobello mushrooms. Seriously, after a little discussion i asked the girl to ask for me...she came back and said they could do a very small portion. Great, something is better than nothing, after a bit another girl came to take order, i said i thought that girl had done my food order, she came back no she sorry she hasn't, ok thank im going to have to leave it as have appointment at vision Express at 2.20pm and left. Grabbed a lovely cup of coffee at Nero. I believe the cafe has been taken over by new people and have made significant changes...im just disappointed in no being able to get even a simple dish in a cafe at 1.30pm when the issue wasnt lack of mushrooms...i found it quite frustrating. I work long hours and do shift work and just fancied a little treat in a genuinely lovely cafe but unable to keep up with the growing demands unless you just want coffee and cake!!"

"I just returned from a charming little village pub, and I highly recommend the steak and ale pie—it’s a must-try! Although it’s a bit pricey, the staff were wonderful and made the experience even better. I live in Cardiff, but the journey is worth it since my daughter has friends in the area. "We went for a dinner with friends, we ordered salt pepper corn, chilli paneer, masala Mogo, veg samosa’s which were all edible but nothing that was outstanding, but all edible and we all ate. For mains we ordered butter chicken, shahi paneer, dal makhani and naan and nothing was really outsindong, they added juts lots of chilli powder on the dal makhani but forgot to add any butter or cream! The paneer was again the same nothing shahi about it. They did offer to make it again but we didn’t want to wait around for them to make it all again. Be aware when ordering a jug of coke or drink! It’s £12 for 3 large glasses of coke whereas the the jug is £12 and only offer you 1.5 glasses of coke! So felt a bit ripped off there! But we didn’t say anything to them about it but def not worth getting the jug! Lesson learnt not sure if rush back to eat there again as nothing really stood out"

"Group of 4 friends visited for a pre birthday treat. The food was overall nice enough though pricey! We did return one dish due to it being too salty and the waiter rectified this and charged us still. The portion sizes are small and the rice was absolutely miniature hardly enough for one person and priced at £3. I do wish I’d taken a picture to show you all. The drinks prices are also high. The ambience was nice. The staff weren’t particularly friendly or attentive and could be seen rushing around like headless chickens mostly. Do not a service charge is added to the bill. The parking was free if visiting the restaurant. Overall nice but there are better places to eat so won’t be returning."

"We held a baby shower event at Home Bar Ickenham this July and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue and service. We hired the small terrace area towards the rear of the venue and it was ample space for hosting a cocktail style event for around 40 people. We were able to move the chairs and decorate the area to make the space suitable for our requirements. The staff, including the manager, George, were exceptional. George and his team were extremely attentive and took great care of us to ensure we could host a successful event which everyone enjoyed. Nothing was too much to ask. They helpfully rearranged the area to suit our requirement’s, they helped manage the budget I had for the event, they offered to help with the set up and they ensured everyone’s glass was full! We could bring our own decor and play our music. I would highly recommend this venue for events. Honestly I did not expect to have such fantastic local service. Thank you to all of the staff at Home Bar, you were all brilliant!"

"I was three times at this resteraunt at the end of southall broadway. had an breakfast on Saturday, midweek dinner with friends, and a weekend lunch decent enough space as many others on southall broadway (gifto’s, tkc etc.) regarding the environment. food is comparable. the trick, not really much better or worse. although I would say that the leti’s and sweet dishes are not as good as some of the other breakfast was disappointing. especially because I like my Pakistani breakfast to have chicken keema, and they do not generally do that well. "Revisited for the first time in two years and the White Hart has not changed. Still average at best, considering the local competition visited recently on a works outing pre Xmas. The good stuff: staff friendly and very helpful. the place is warm but no roaring log fire. not so good stuff. Food is average at best veg way to undercooked, mains look better than they taste, bear in mind the local competition such as the Pheasant just down the road I think I would only go to the White Hart if the Pheasant was booked out. In an area where there are many places offering fare to the weary Heathrow traveler its important to stand out. This place does not. Make your own mind up"

"Late lunch before flying back home with family. We ordered egg Benedict, seafood risotto and baked salmon fillet All taste very good and enough portion. Dessert is wonderful as well. "Having been coming to The Plough over a 30 year period when visiting London, it is such a real shame to see what 's happened to it. Once it was an English country pub with great food and service and well worth adding an extra night at Heathrow just to go there for dinner. Coming to London once again, we booked a hotel nearby and made a dinner reservation at The Plough for 7pm. Pulling up out the front, the first thing we saw was a large sign saying TANDOORI CAFE across the top of what used to be an outside food service area. On going inside, we realised we need not have bothered to make a reservation. We were seated and given the menus along with TANDOORI MENU. Our usual starter was the breaded mushmoom caps which used to be great followed by the grilled Scottish salmon fillet. We ordered the same items and it was all down hill from there. Asking for a wine list, the young waitress replied We don 't have one because the prices change all the time. REALLY ?! So , taking pot luck and with no idea of price, we ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio. It was not Italian and very ordinary for 16 pounds. The starters came out and instead of whole mushroom caps , they were chopped up small field mushrooms. The salmon then came out and it was overcooked and had obviously been in a microwave. It seems The Plough is no longer what it used to be and for some unknown reason, whoever owns it now is trying to turn it into an Indian Tandoori Restaurant !!! It 's a real shame that this has happened and after so many really nice dinners there, we will not be going back."

"So, after 4 years I have decided to change my mind regarding this restaurant. It used to be my favourite Thai restaurant in the area but the food quality has deteriorated massively. I asked for some fresh chillies because the dish I ordered was missing it even though the menu stated it was spicy. I was shocked to discover they charged me 50p for the chilli as a Sauce ! Staff didn 't even take it off the bill when I objected. This is the first time in my life I was charged for a chilli and doubt I 'll be returning again. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"I was in this restaurant period before and enjoyed eating, but it seems that they have hired new workers and I did not recognize the administration, so it may have changed. after I called them earlier on the day, I found that they did not take reservations, but we decided to visit anyway (big drinks) .... wait time was about < br/> initially noticed that I had been saniting. most of the things we wanted to eat on the menu were not available, which disappointing arrive after min drinks and starter. I reminded the waiter of the remaining appetizers and drinks over time. another minute pass and our net comes (before starters) the missing drinks also arrive. at this point I ask the waiter to take the main thing back as I would like to eat my appetizer first. the waiter insisted that we have the main thing, and the precursors will soon follow. after about minutes of debate I would like to eat only after hours of the entire waiting period, so I gave and accepted the net before the starter!! the starter never arrived and I finally gave the hope that they arrive so that I had my cold netzen and decided to cancel the rest of the order. there was no communication between the person lade (the owner) and the waiter, since she tried to load me on the full order, not taking into consideration all that she did not serve, also she tried to calculate on drinks, if we only br/> after an emergency team meeting in the corner with her waiter team she decided to calculate me exact but not excuse me it seems that they simply cannot deal with the flow of guests. I am not sure how many regular they get rid of due to their falling standards and I have seen many bad reviews when I scroll through some of the review sites. also I wonder what happens after eating out schema ends and restaurants need to be based on taste and service?!"

"I've lived locally my whole life and have heard of Sahibs from friends a number of times. To start off as we walked in it looked a dindgy pub rather than an Indian restaurant (nothing like the pictures). they didn't have our name listed even...though we had email confirmation of our booking. After standing for 10 mins by the door with my pregnant wife we were eventually seated. Drinks and food came out very quickly buy the food was really poor and rushed out. My 73 year old father in law told one of the waiters that the mogo was a bit bitter and undercooked and overly sweet and he just waved his hands in the air like he wasn't interested and rudely walked away so we asked for the manager from another waiter and 20 mins later the manager still had not arrived. The manager eventually walked past and I called him over and he said no one had passed the message on. We asked to the mogo to be taken off the bill as we hadn't eaten it and when the bill arrived it was still there with an extra service charge. The food was terrible, service was non existant and when we left and told the I spoke to a waiter who serverd us (on your way out) that we did not have a good experience and he looked at me blankly like he didn't care what I was saying. Possibly it was because the were understaffed but still no excuse really. Definitely not for me!"
