"Das Essen ist top aber die Lieferzeiten werden überhaupt nicht eingehalten. Über Lieferando bestellt, Lieferung laut App um 18.45 Uhr. Als das Essen um 20.00 Uhr immer noch nicht da war, angerufen und nachgefragt bis wann das Essen kommt, heißt es plötzlich das unsere Bestellung als nächstes dran ist. Das ist schon sehr unverschämt wenn man 2,5 Std auf die Lieferung warten muss und noch nicht Mal eine Benachrichtigung bekommt, daß es Verzögerungen gibt. Leider ist es nicht das erste Mal. Wir werden hier zukünftig nicht mehr bestellen."

"Ce que je préfère dans ce restaurant c'est le cadre : on s'y sent bien. La décoration est raffinée et impeccable. Tout est soigné. les luminaires et les décorations murales, notamment la rangée de poissons qui sort du mur, sont superbes. Tout s'accorde très bien pour une ambiance déco et cosy.La cuisine est aussi très bonne : le capuccino de cèpes ou de truffes est toujours très bon, tout comme le jambon italien coupé à la machine sur place. En plat, je reste une inconditionnelle du carré d'agneau et surtout de son gratin de pommes de terre.pour les vins : c'est l'occasion de gouter les vins allemands : essayer le vin blanc de Alexander Laible !Enfin, le personnel est très agréable. Autres choses à savoir : - vous pouvez y aller pendant la saison des asperges;- aux beaux jours, ils ont une terrasse aussi agréable que le restaurant intérieur !- enfin, les chambres de l'hôtel sont aussi agréables que le restaurant, donc à conseiller également."

"after the great culinary experience in summer 2016 (our then rating: full 5 points) we were again to be in the idyllic garden of the pflug in juli 2017. unfortunately with a completely different experience: we got three different cards on the table, which not only seemed unsorched in different formats, but also partly repeated. also the service was significantly worse. so there could not be a future about the meat variety at two dressed and there were longer waiting times for the drinks. Moreover, the telephone reservation in the garden was also unclear and had to be discussed. apropos drinks: in none of the cards were shown normal soft drinks, beer and wine varieties. only special summer cocktails. the foods were good, but in the price-performance ratio (I had a ham-spargel toast with hollandaise, but without cheese) definitiw too expensive. we can only hope that it has been more or less just a "bad day" and that the plow is back to its old quality. if not, that would be really a pity. this time only 3 points from us."

"I found this restaurant by chance: I was looking for a restaurant in the town kehl near the French border when I entered it to search for a menu in Spanish language. the woman told me they didn't have it, but you...you could talk it because he lived in teneriffa, and so you started talking to him in a very flowing Spanish. So I could get to know a very honest family that works very hard for a living and satisfies their customers. the menu is cheaper than the average of the zone, and when they go there, they must taste their fondues. käse fondue (black forest’s style) and meal fondue also known as Chinese fondue. both are amazing. thanks uta and ramón for these fantastic meals."

"I had visited the old man on time twice in the last few years. as it was in the summer months, I ate outside, what a wonderful surprise I went with my wife on a cold December night. what a beautiful pub',...character everywhere. in the furniture, windows, tables, decorations and that feeling of social history that has left its fragrance. a place they like to go with a few friends for a rare old evening of nice beer, eat and wonderful social chat. this place really gives it. a wonderful selection of food, in German tradition and beer. I chose the mixed grill, delicious and cheap. the owner daughter served us, nice and friendly and in the praising of the kneipe she informed us about her mother, which she managed for years. always a great sign when a family works in business for so long. I already called my nephew in kehl and we both meet for a couple tomorrow. highly recommended for those who enjoy these wonderful qualities that this style of old restaurants / pub brings."

"we will find a great selection of meat and fish including lamb and shark. the restaurant has a grill. the price of the menus is really fair and the places are really soothing. the server are real friendly and freendly and are effective. there are...less choices of dessert and the last time I (after the first limitation) was less good and more expensive. the grills are very good and the dishes are well presented. good place and eating are very good, but not much vegan eating and dessert. I love this restaurant and I recommended it for dinner in the family, but I fear the quality has deteriorated."

"the restaurant has actually closed on Mondays; we are new in kehl, got the tipp there to eat well Indian and stood - Mondays - in front of closed door. but the chefin came, opened us - it was the 1st mai - and said that their children would have accepted a reservation anyway, so we are also welcome. the menu is Nordic-traditional, offers a great, tasty variety also to be oriented vegetarian and also to season or preparation. eating in the north - so the chefin told us - is not as sharp as in the south. our dishes were pleasantly spicy; one tasted a certain complexity of the mixes and it was really not too sharp. to the conclusion there were very tasty spices from a vessel to support digestion. I have occasionally made disappointing experiences in Indian restaurants, not so in the "saffron elephant". very recommended and we go back."

"INFO FÜR GLUTEN- UNVERTRÄGLICHKEIT Wir waren zu zweit am 22.07.23 hier essen. Ich habe eine Gluten-Unverträglichkeit und habe die Bedinung gefragt ob mein Gericht glutenfrei zubereitet werden kann, da ich sonst starke körperliche Probleme bekomme. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und meinte dass man es so zubereiten kann. Doch als das Essen kam, lag oben auf dem Gericht Röstwiebeln. Dies in Kombination mit dem Reis konnte ich nicht essen! Ich ging rein und erkundigte mich nochmal bei der Bedienung und sie nahm das Gericht zurück. Ihre Aussage: sie kümmert sich drum. Ein paar min später bekam ich das Gericht. Ich dachte es sei nun glutenfrei. Doch leider erst als ich das Essen fast aufgegessen hatte, sah ich noch einzelne Stückchen von Röstzwiebeln. Sie wurden also nur runter ,,geschabt . Ich hatte danach leider dementsprechend körperliche Symptome und meine Unverträglichkeit hat sich natürlich somit gezeigt. Sehr unverschämt und schade!"

"Ever since the ownership changed a couple of years ago, this restaurant has been on a steep decline. Most of the menu has remained the same. The dishes are not quite the same as before (preparation, presentation.. but they are ok. But, the service is...terrible! There is enough wait staff, but they are so disorganized and inefficient. Everyone at my table was served their starters, but something happened to mine. I didn't get mine until everyone had already finished theirs. The table next to us waited for nearly minutes before they were even asked for their drink order. After another minutes, they finally just left. It's a shame because the outside terrace has a very nice and cozy atmosphere. The grape vines growing over the terrace offer shade. In the winter, there is a room with a lit fire. It's also a shame because the owner seems nice and enthusiastic."

"this restaurant on the outskirts of kehl is surrounded by various shops, so perfect for a relaxing rest after the weekly shopping trip. the inner is cozy but also surprising, with an orangery (orangerie) in the back! the brot is homemade and baked daily, dishes. are authentic (yes, sometimes different from what people understand in the rule, as italian and beautiful. the food palette ranges from pizza to cake, antipasti to tiramisu. ohjulia probably serves the best (and cheapest! 1euro) espresso in the city. the personal could be a little more reactive for the needs and desires of customers, but perhaps some welcome it as a invite to slow down the day."

"We have breakfast twice at LoLo and were delighted with the vegan offers. The bowl, the stirring tofu, the pancakes and the mix cellar Of all ebbis were perfectly matched and very varied. Only the supplement for plant milk has surprised us when considering the vegetarian/vegan focus. From the former church was a very cozy, beautiful location including Terasse, garden and playground. "this is a very small place, but the pide (a kind of Turkish pizza,) that is served there is wonderful. we tried the meat and cheese. the meat pid is very good, but sharp. cheese is ok, nothing special, but a good alternative if you don't like sharp eating. the most interesting is how they serve it. it comes on a long board (about 1 meter long) and a salad bowl in the middle. the ayram (yoghurt) is also good. friendly staff."

"location of the restaurant top - directly on the Rhine located on German side. we had a table reserved. only after a long time waiting and waving on our side the card was taken. there was not much going on and there were awesome staff. after about 40 minutes, no service had yet come to take up the drinks. we again drew attention to us through gestures - nothing. seemingly, the French-speaking personal, who speaks only broken German, has touched with German. French were served immediately. we rose up after about 50 minutes and left. no one came from the personal and asked. very sad.This locality will not see us - despite the great location -. It seems that you are not dependent on German guests, there are plenty of french people on the German Rhine side."

"Kann das Restaurant nicht wirklich empfehlen. Das Gyros war verbrannt (teilweise schwarz) und sehr trocken. Auf meinen Hinweis wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir die erste Portion Gyros heute erhalten haben. Das sagt mir allerdings auch, dass das Fleisch entweder vom Mittagstisch oder vom Vortag gewesen sein muss. Denn dann wurde es sehr wahrscheinlich erneut erhitzt, was das Trockene und Verbrannte erklären lässt.Das Biftecki, welches normalerweise aus Hackfleisch besteht, ist hier wohl zusätzlich mit Bratwurstbrät vermengt, was zum einen den typischen Geschmack aber auch die Konsistenz m.E. nicht gerade positiv beeinflusst. Im Allgemeinen waren die Speisen auch kaum gewürzt.Fazit: Es gibt bessere Griechen!"

"I have been to this restaurant several times and I have had great fun every time! The Greek owner, Dimitri is such a jovial guy that he makes you laugh your head off with his jokes every time. He also has a witty comment to...anything you throw at him. The people who work for him at the restaurant are also very interesting colorful people. This time we met Fernando de Vito, who was originally from Argentina and had lived in Germany for years. He was working by himself this evening and was managing the work superbly. It was totally entertaining talking to him in Spanish in an environment like Kehl where people either spoke French or German! The food at the restaurant was fantastic. The prices were very fair. Nothing really went over euros. I had a salad with lamb strips, which was very tasty and my friend had lamb chops, which was also great. I had a red wine called manuso (correct spelling? from Greece and it was very good. We were in the backyard enjoying the cooler weather after a heat wave in that part of Germany when it started thundering pouring! So we ran inside, lit up a candle and started enjoying the inside of the restaurant, which was actually nicer than the backyard. So we had to continue on to desserts. What we had was more like a warm pie with ice cream. We also received an alcoholic drink on the house made by the owner himself. It was a very round evening and we walked out with a promise to come back to enjoy dinner and dancing down in the little disco again. I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to let loose and have a great evening. Don’t be shy to start a conversation with the owner, who is a very funny guy. If you get him started, you will be entertained the whole evening"
