"We made a reservation for 7pm at this restaurant. I asked the server what "Gammon" was, and she simply said it was "ham" without providing any further explanation. When I asked for more details about the dish, she refused. There was butter on the table, but no bread. When I requested bread, the server also refused. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, so we asked if the door could be opened for some fresh air, but the server said no. On top of this, the front desk staff was not much better - when we asked for water, they rudely informed us that we would have to pay for it. It took 45 minutes to receive our starters, followed by a 30-minute wait for the main dish, and another 25 minutes for dessert. The customer service was awful, and the servers seemed inexperienced. For a restaurant that is supposedly high class and expensive, they should prioritize customer service and aim to say "yes" more often than "no"."
