"OK, I 'll start with a bit of truth in reviewing: Le Kremlin Bicetre is NOT in Paris, but since it is no more than 250 meters from the Peripherique, I 'm sticking with my review title. IF you want to visit Fratello 's, it is closer to the Port de Italie metro stop (line 7 than the KB stop. I 've eaten and enjoyed Fratello 's since summer 2011, and return there often enough to be an almost regular. Even when we were new customers the greeting and service was excellent. My first impression of a restaurant is reading the menu. Some places have a limited menu, and a few specials and that is fine. Fratello 's has an extensive menu AND the chalk board of specials, and honestly I am skeptical of a place that tries to be everything all the time. Well I 've sampled their menu from end to end, and have yet to be disappointed. The antipasto appetizer (not called that, I think it is 'Fratello 's special ' is a mix of greens, fresh mozzarella, shaves of parmesan and meats, served with a freshly baked flatbread and good oil. DELICIOUS, it is a standard now. For one person, it is enough for a meal. We typically share between both of us. As mentioned above, all of their dishes are excellent. I 'm likely to order the pasta carbonara, or the veal shanks, or close my eyes and guess. My companion is partial to the various fish dishes. Usually we 're both too full for dessert, but when we do endulge we 're glad we did. IF they have the Lacrima Christi ROSE ' it is perfect. The wine list is not extensive but broad enough to fit any taste. Note that I 've been here for lunch and for dinner multiple times; either as a couple or with groups of friends. We 've never made a reservation and have been lucky; if you 're crossing Paris a phone call might make sense. The upstairs dining room is quieter than the main floor room."
