"From our arrival to our departure everything was perfect. Home, service, excellent meal, nothing to say except PARFAIT. We were 3. Apéro, admissions, dishes, desserts, wine. Very good value quality price. Foie gras, tuna tataki and dorade tartare with inlet citrus. Beef tartar with oysters, veal ris and pork foot in dish and 2 coffees and 1 very gourmet tea for dessert. We recommend all eyes closed. Thank you to the whole team of the home port for this good evening being from here we will come back to see you with family or friends. See you."

"Very nice atmosphere with a nice top roof is certain. Cooking: 2 dishes on the more disposable map (sleeve and turbo), a good tuna tartar but not unbelievable (reworking seasoning), the smoked ox carpaccio much too salty (not the fault of parmesan it comes from salaison) and the milanese tin really fat. The eggplant caviar was, on the other hand, delicious, accompaniment. Cocktails at Parisian prices of 12-15 euros therefore not tested. Rather disappointed overall."

"Nous avons eu l'occasion de faire plusieurs cabanes lors de notre séjour au cap Ferret, et ça reste l'une de nos préférées ! La vue est superbe, le cadre magnifique. Les huîtres étaient excellentes !!Mention spéciale pour le beurre salé, une tuerie !Le personnel était très agréable.Bref je vous conseille vivement d'aller y faire un tour !"

"Correct table report quality prices last year, 2018 marks a turning point with a new team in the stove and simply: That's great! There are several meals made this year and dishes always up to the title and well-worked quality products. Careful presentation and taste in the mouth, what else?! Only problem, a formula from noon to less than 15€ and it is 2 minutes from work! It's not gonna help the greedy I keep the line. Come on, guys, let go, my grandpa have fun!"

"I was here with my wife and my son after we had spent the afternoon at the beach of Grand Crohot, we were not sure to dive out, but on the way back to our holiday home we noticed this place we had heard and decided to stop...by and give it a try. The place is really nice, with outdoor and beautiful interiors in style America 50's. Speciality of the house were hamburgers (as well as Wetare, we learned, besides pizza), so both my wife and I tried the house hamburgers with homemade frits, while our son had the children's menu (ham with fries, other options were pizza or miniburgers, all with a dessert). The burgers were simply delicious, with a homemade bread, Cheddar cheese, sweet onions, salad and tomatoes, the frits were also very delicious. The size of the sandwich was generous and the cooking of the meat was perfect (I asked rarely, my wife well made). The bill was very easy, under 30 euros for 2 adults and a child. Service was excellent, with very friendly and nice staff. If you are in the area and are looking for a high quality and delicious 'fast' food with a lot of choice and fair prices just stop there."

"Après avoir testé plusieurs cabanes à huîtres au cap ferret, celle-ci est certainement celle présentant le cadre le plus époustouflant. Apéro très agréable au coeur du bassin. On y mange très bien et on est charmés par le lieu.A conseiller plus pour un apéro que pour un dîner. Le service est en revanche vraiment très moyen : la personne qui se charge d'accueillir les clients et qui nous ignore un bon moment le temps de finir sa conversation. La serveuse qui s'occupe de notre table n'hésite pas non plus à marmonner devant nous à son collègue qu'elle a "hâte d'aller se coucher".... Franchement, nous on s'en fiche et on fait abstraction car on a passé une superbe soirée, et le service pour nous, ça reste secondaire, mais c'est quand même pas hyper pro ;) On recommande vivement pour le lieu incroyable, magique et pour la qualité des huitres et du vin !"

"Now it's the ocean hut... Small restaurant located on the main road between ares and the cap ferret. We find burger sandwich crêpes salad. The reception is pleasant. The burgers are very good the fries are home. There's a child menu. For 3 adult meals a child with coffee and soda for children and wine 75 euros... It's not a gastro but it's honest! (And the boss is kind to the children and he also accepts the dogs). Some that a little world is a little slow but they are 2 and the cuisto also serves when there is rush. C is a cheap restaurant good quality price compared to what is done in the sector..."

"we haven't come to this restaurant since the purchase. I have to say we enjoyed our lunch. our table was on the sea side. we have missed a sunshade and the personal has fixed this with efficiency and taken our demand seriously. we had fun when the bottom of the shadow felt in water. a customer went down to restore it. eating was really good. we have taken three menus and are thrilled. only critique, on the menu, instead of eating, there were discs, not so delicious. but we went for foie gras as an appetizer, fish for entrée and a delicious strabeer cake for dessert. very nice kitchen. the wine list is impressive and not so far. excellent weine. so, very nice experience again, gratitude to the team and the chef. one of the best restaurants in bassin d’arcachon. bravo."

"De prime abord un simple restaurant d'hôtel sans particularités mais tout change dans l'assiette. Un menu à 19,50€ pour entrée + plat + dessert le soir c'est une bonne trouvaille sur le bassin.Côté entrée le saumon mariné est excellent tout comme la soupe de poisson, cette dernière est d'ailleurs servie dans un grand plat à soupe ce qui a permis à la personne qui l'a commandé de faire 3 assiettes.Au niveau des plats enfin un plat de seiche à l'américaine réussie avec une cuisson juste et une sauce goûteuse. Un saumon également très bien cuit servi avec des petits légumes et une sauce au beurre blanc à tomber.Les desserts ne sont pas en reste, la mousse au chocolat bien que légèrement retombée était chocolatée à souhait et la tarte au citron un pur délice. En résumé un rapport qualité-prix très appréciable avec des produits frais et bien cuisinés. Une bonne adresse à Claouey qui mérite à être connue."

"We wanted to walk somewhere from the campsite and there was no great choice! Once we arrived, the owners felt so welcome and gave us a friendly hand with the translation! It was the last day of our vacation in the area and our party of six lasted from 20 to 85 years. The food was nice, service was excellent and we would certainly go back and recommend this little jewel to everyone. Thanks for making our last night so pleasant."

"This is such a lovely place. To start at the beginning, the first time we went here for dinner this summer I spoke to the restaurant manager about my food intolerances (onions and garlic) and how this limits choice for me. Right! He said. Just give us 4 days’ notice and you can have anything you want. So I do. And I can. Pure heaven. Their gratineed oysters, normally so garlicky, for me come with a non garlic herby lemony butter. Glorious. The tartare of salmon and avocado comes for me without shallots. Fabulous. The scallops and mash with that strong meat jus comes for me with a jus made without onions or garlic. Amazing. You get the picture. They are lovely, and wonderfully accommodating. And it is such a lovely place to be. And we have a new habit 4 days before we want to dine we go to their wonderful bar and have a cocktail whilst ordering my next meal. When I mentioned to a member of staff how wonderful they are she said but it is normal! No, I am afraid it is not. So few restaurants are prepared to go out of their way like this. Maison du Bassin, you are exceptional. I thank you so much."

"Excellente cuisine, simple, avec des produits ultra frais.Pour tous les goûts: l'offre de poissons et de viandes est suffisante.L'accueil et le service ont été souriants, professionnels et attentionnés.Mention spéciale au lieu qui nous permet de voir la brigade de cuisiniers/ecaillers s'activer afin de préparer lesplats.Tout était excellent: couteaux en entrée, huîtres, magret de canard (très généreux), le duo de poissons, les desserts tous faits maison (y compris les profiteroles).Seul bémol: l'attente entre les plats: n'y allez pas si vous êtes pressés: un déjeuner prend plus de 2 heures.Pensez à réserver car le restaurant est vite bondé.Nous recommandons sans hesitation."

"Superb decoration of the restaurant and its exterior with views of the basin. Cuisine really delicious !!!! From the entrance to the dessert everything is perfect. Peppers persillad fish soup, fresh fish of the pond and pavlova strawberry a real pleasure !!!! All the staff is really adorable despite a well-filled restaurant, they take time!!! Too bad we've lived so far, we'll come a lot. The establishment promotes short circuit and local trades. The products are fresh and the kitchen smells!!! Thank you for this very good time!!! "it was years since I had eaten here. the lookout is beautiful, good French pommes. but what I didn't appreciate was rough commercialism. this restaurant was always known for its special clam recipe, so that the people came for cuddling. now the famous cuddles were moved to the starter (entrée) part of the menu. so that after a taste of mushing they can comfortably move to a piece of fish instead of enjoying the significantly lower mushles. it is equivalent to chick fil a or kfc only chickenuggets as beside dishes. back where I grew up, we called the customer. what a shame to go on such a foolish trick. you feel like you're on the middle sea coast."

"very disappointed tonight, leaving this restaurant that is an institution on the Arcachon Basin. very poorly installed, we ate very tight and without being able to barely move our chair some stuck between the feet of the table and the wall behind. very long waiting between the dishes that it has sometimes had to ask again. tuna tartar and accompanying vegetables were however delicious."
