"Our son with family had signed up for a visit and since we were always satisfied at the Württemberger Hof we signed up here for lunch. The very obstructed construction site was cleared so there was a free access. Parking is not a problem because the Württemberg court has its own large parking lot. "We were staying at a nearby hotel and based on TripAdvisor, made the walk down to Wok on Fire for a casual take-away meal after a long day of travel. Compared to other nearby eateries, this place was bustling! There was a line at the...counter to order and the staff there is hustling to turn meals. After placing our order we were number I went back up a few minutes later to add a soup that I saw someone eating and was given number The wait is not too long and I am not envious of the few in the kitchen...they are turning meals over in the wok constantly and have to be hot as heck! As mentioned, we took our food back to our hotel. The soup and all wok meals we ordered were still steaming hot after our minute walk. All of the food was DELICIOUS! I mean good better than some of the food I have had in Thailand!!! Their specialty is the wok meal you pick your noodle, protein, veggies and sauce they have lots of choices. They also offer other meals, like Thai Curry, Thai Soup, etc... If I could franchise one of these and bring the same experience and quality to the U.S. I would it was that good! I may return all of the way to Ludwigsburg just to pay Wok on Fire another visit! Get your Wok on!"

"we were already often in tafuro, really delicious eating and the pizza dough is simply unbeatable. we never had anything to do with eating. I find the worst if you give up the order and while looking into the opposite, we always feel just finished and we are not in a bite especially in a decent restaurant.It is a family-run company, which is of course great and also remembers the cordiality when the chief welcomes people he knows or who belong to the family. but what is not going on and I cannot suffer at all is the obvious difference that is made who sits on the table.Our last visit was on Valentine's Day, we spontaneously got a table for 18 o'clock, with the note that we would have to go at least 20 o'clock. that was not so bad now, but we came to the point that we were standing on a corner in the two tables, from the two we were looking for one. the food was served as always fast and also tasted well. shortly afterwards a couple came to take right next to us at the table place. they were welcomed at once totally cordially and with a glass champagne. a little bit later, there was also a teller with a little bruschetta ugly, which we did not get. Now I am repeating myself but this 2 classes treatment of the guests I find impossible.After yesterday 08.08.17: After a long time we decided to go spontaneously to the da tafuro because we had great hunger and were close. on the terrace there were still enough tables available, but we had to take back to a table assigned to us because not all were covered. beautiful and good, then we sat with other guests close next to each other like the chickens on the rod. order was quickly taken up as we almost always eat the same. my man a pizza and I the spaghetti positano. a very tasty pasta dish with fried champignons, garlic, capern, rukola; walnuts and olive oil; until yesterday. either the regular chef is on holiday or he had a bad day. my spaghetti swung right in oil and in the juice of champignons and from the walnuts no trace. it tasted not bad, the quality and preparation was not satisfying but because I was very hungry and had no desire to wait again for something I did ate nevertheless. the service ran past us twice and saw my sea in the teller (because we sat outside and the table was not totally flat the teller stood a bit oblique and thus the whole liquid was collected in a corner of the teller) but said no ton. Just as little as the teller were cleared. we pay and she still asked us if it had tasted, I denied why, why was not asked further and this unprofessional arise for me really incomprehensible. during eating the parchment paid and after that they were offered a little bite to drink. again the impression of the master, known or guests who have more money can be treated with preference. shortly after, another couple came to sit next to us on the table and after the order got directly a teller with small bruschettas, which we did not get again....For me the last visit in the tafuro, I don't have to go into such a local place where you're constantly being processed and obviously depending on the pleasure and laune it's treated like that."

"the food was excellent and presented to a really beautiful wise. I am Italian and I can really say it is one of the best Italian restaurators I have tried in Germany (and also in Italy). the November menu had interesting dishes: the gnocchi in salsa...di castagne with rosted bacon on the top was simply wonderful! but also the tagliata on rucola, potates and on the top some parmisam was really good and the starter, a sformatino di broccoli e parmigiano con prosciutto alla carrettiera was delicious. the dessert was inconvenient: panna cotta dressed with ingwer and pommegranade. the wine was also excellent: white wine from abruzzo for gnocchi and red wine from sicilia (syrah) for the meat. the personal was friendly and cared for us well and the price was really good in considering the excellent served (35 euro including the weine)"

Elefanten emerged as a ideal candidate.Elefanten is within walking distance from the train station (10-15 mins.).We followed the advice found in other reviews and booked ahead of time and it's a good job that we did. Our visit was on a Tuesday evening and it was packed.The welcome was friendly and personal and the atmosphere was lively and convivial.There's a good choice of typical Greek dishes and everything we chose was available, arrived quickly and was delicious. I ordered a dish containing calimari and seafood was very fresh and perfectly cooked.Be sure to have worked up a decent apetite before you visit; the portions are very generous!Thoroughly enjoyable visit -- and if we ever find ourselves in Ludwigsburg again, we'll definitely be back."
