"After a fairly catastrophic experience in eating with the family (they're visit from Spain the day before, this place has made our week! We were a little late for lunch according to German standards and were still welcome to take a place in the outdoor terrace that is limited by what I think is part of the historic city wall. What a beautiful place to sit in the historic city of Marbach! If I get it right, the place is run by a few middle ages. Instead of talking about the service, I would like to compare this as a lunch in your aunt, the really good home cooking and care to make things right for you. It is not the slim choreography they practice in hotels, but it certainly has its charm. The food is very good at home cooking, we had authentic house made mouthbags (with plenty of fleshy filling and easy on the veggies; they were certainly on the ground! and duck breast on sautéed beets and corn fritatas. Dessert was really good, especially the house made ice and sorbet. The price is very reasonable as the quality and preparation of food was quite excellent. We really enjoyed our lunch there very much!"

"The reception in the rustic but appealingly decorated restaurant with fabric tablecloths and outdoor terrace was friendly. After we were the only guests next to a larger table at the entrance, however, it was irritated that the two rear tables were offered to us for selection. The front table remained only short, but the only remaining guests were also assigned to the other rear table: Apparently, it did not arrive here that the view into a completely empty space is hardly inviting and therefore does not work. The service was then friendly, but inattentive. On cold plates the house grill plate (16.90) and lamb were filled with pine nuts and raisins (18.90). For this purpose, the fresh vegetables came almost more than just bite-resistant and was barely Mediterranean with salt potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. Qualitatively everything went well, only the lamb came unexpectedly as a grilled fillet and was therefore manageable. Nice was the conclusion with a glass of tea and a piece of sweet pastries on the house: unfortunately but without printed invoice."

"mostly as Italian I am suspicious about Italian restaurants in the country, because the quality is rarely satisfying and far from the standard of italia. host of the pavarotti for a business dinner, I must admit that I was really happy. managed by Italian people, I ate. very good. Apart from a suppe as an appetizer I ate a filet steak in a red wine sauce. good quality and well cooked, even if for an Italian it is strange to see pasta as a supplement. but we are in Germany, I could understand. In order not to drink the champagne water of san pellegrino, we chose an Italian red wine (the primitivo di manduria very good, even if expensive (about 40 euro, but I do not know the market price in Germany). Finally, prices are above average, but reflect the good quality of food and fresh raw materials. the environment and the furniture could be more stylish. in the walls some Italian denkmäler painted: maybe local people like them, but some 80s... think of a restyling. very nice the personal, friendly as the Italian standard: they let me feel like at home. I recommend this restaurant."

"We celebrated the baptism of my daughter and chose a buffet. The company was very friendly on the outdoor terrace with an aperitif. The ambience was beautiful, summery and very welcoming. Large plants, light chains, beach basket, sand chairs and beautiful large summer umbrellas offer a lot of shade. The tables were large and beautiful decorated with beautiful large lilies. The GIG appetizer buffet was great. Large selection of typical Swabian dishes to Couscous various salads and antipasti. Then there were salmon with shrimps, rust roasts, croquettes, loins, rice and salt potatoes. For the children there were also bims with nuggets or carvings, the panade here was particularly delicious and crispy and tasted the children mega. Soooo delicious! Meat on point! Everyone was thrilled! To dessert Duo of Panna Cotta and Mousse au Chocolat with fruit. Between the corridors you can enjoy the sun terrace and relax with delicious cocktails, long drinks and scorpions, accompanied by beautiful but not disturbing chillout and Latin music. A beautiful and well maintained place with a bowling alley and several rooms overlooking the Neckar. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Dogs are also welcome and you can refresh yourself for a drink bar for dogs. We are very happy about our selection and are sure we will celebrate there again. Until a new occasion we visit the restaurant for dinner. The managing director Jack Khano was very friendly in the interview and we felt very well advised. We all felt comfortable and can recommend this restaurant for a meal, family or celebrations."
