"Looks can be deceving - This restaurant is completely on trend - wooden furnishings, neon art on the walls, swanky lounge chairs and couches, they have it all. What they don't have is great food unfortunately.A quick look at the menu (and if you're upstairs you might not be able to see if very clearly - the lighting is very poor) and I was surprised by how small the selection was - that being said most places with a small menu have great quality food (not this one).I chose to have the Lamb with beetroot sauce and figs.My Lamb was very well cooked and the presentation was fantastic - very jackson pollock, but the food story ends there - lacking any flavour and seasoning the meat ended up very dry without a real sauce to compliment it.My partner had the meat tartar, once again a very similar experience. A large enough portion supported by a very poor display of complimentary items. Three tiny pieces of brown bread with four mini saucers of capers, tomatoes and onions. Really very disappointing for what was an incredibly large portion of tartar. And for the prices of both these products we we're left wanting so much more. I'd go back here for the Gin though, which I did enjoy immensely, and of which they have a great selection of - once again very on trend. The service was friendly and we didn't wait long for our food either - its just a shame it really was'nt up to mark. In the end this restaurant is more fashion over function I'm afraid."

"ENG We went there to take a coffee but in the end we had dinner. It is a really beautiful place, with so kind waiters. They put water to our dog and give him some dog food. The menu is attached to old books pages...and everything looked fantastic! I took a salad because I wasn’t so hungry, but I will come back! ESP Fuimos a tomar un café pero terminamos cenando. Es un lugar muy bonito con camareros muy amables. Le pusieron un cuenco con agua a nuestro perro y le dieron chuches. El menú está pegado en páginas de libros viejos y todo tenia muy buena pinta! Me tomé una ensalada porque no tenía mucha hambre, pero volveré"

"We went here with some of our friends living in Häckling.This was definitely one of the best experiences I've had this summer!Their breakfast menu was full of different exciting meals, and their coffee tasted very delicious.I had the flat White and an iced cappuccino both perfect, my girlfriend one of their fresh juiced very good as well.The staff was very kind and the owner as well and she seems very passionated about the quality and finish.If you are in Lüneburg and looking for a prober coffee or something nice to eat, I will highly recommend this place!And an other pro, their prices are reasonable."

"in november had my man birthday and I have reserved a table 2 days before for 4 people. this should be nicely covered and I wanted 4 glasses of champagne to be served. After we arrived, we were greeted nicely and the service congratulated my man for birthday. we were led to the table that was really very beautifully covered. white tablecloth with a red medium blanket on it and 3 thick red bump candles decorated our birthday table with pretty folded serviettes. After we got the menue cards, chatted a little, the service brought us the desired champagne and my man looked a little amazed. so my wish was fulfilled and that really impressed me. we were looking for our food that started as usual with the delicious appetizer bruschetta. after that followed in really short intervals our eating and dessert. especially I liked that we all got our food at the same time and didn't have to wait one while the others ate. I also liked that we had the same service all night and I felt that the young woman was only responsible for us. eating was as usual plentiful, hot and extremely tasty and the price efficiency is just right. the local itself has a very quiet atmosphere. a little dark furnished for my taste, but somehow also original. I like the typical Italian pictures on the walls, not cheesy. in the summer you can sit well in front of the local if it doesn't bother you that drive past in regular intervals buses. there is also a so-called smoker corner, which is also outside, but covered. I can't say if there are heat radiators in winter. the only manko would be the toilets. they are super clean, but unfortunately you have to go through the whole restaurant and go up for “mich” rather uncomfortable stairs. for disabled or wheelchairs impossible. otherwise I forgive really full 5 stars."

"Also, zuletzt waren wir da, um die letzte schriftliche Abiturprüfung des Juniors (absoluter Schnitze-Fan) zu würdigen... Ergebnis: Mutter und Vater hielten sich "mengentechnisch" zurück... Junior meinte er "könne es noch" also: Her mit den 1.000g" ;-)Ergebnisse:Erst einmal zum Geschmack: ALLES SUPERLECKER !Jetzt zu den "Zuständen" mit denen wir das Haus verlassen haben ;-)Vater (450g), Mutter (200g), Sohn (bestellt 1Kg, aber hierzu kommen wir "später): PAPPSATT und wie gesagt alles "schmackofatz" :-):-):-)Jetzt zum "Junior-Ergebnis": "Geschafft" hat er diesmal "nur" die Hälfte und jetzt kommt´s: Er bekam seine "verbliebene Hälfte" zum mitnehmen überreicht in Alufolie oder wie sie hier heißt und auch so beschriftet wird "Looserfolie" :-) :-) :-)Wie sind schon jetzt gespannt, ob er sich "beschränkt", denn nach der Überreichung des Abiturzeugnisses nächste Woche möchte er wieder hin, wie gesagt "Schnitzel-Fan"...Tisch ist schon reserviert :-)P.S.Hier gibt es natürlich "nicht nur" Schnitzel, sondern auch ganz viele andere leckere Sachen :-)"

"I'm not scared! we had a table reserved for 3 people by phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, a group of 3 people came shortly before us, which apparently had not reserved. the group received a generous table. we called our reservation and were allowed to stay in the guest room for some time. while we were waiting, we noticed that another table was free for 4 people and a 2 table. after much serrated from the references, another chair was placed on the table in the middle of the local and we asked to this table. to my note that I did not intend to sit on the catastrophe (we already had a seat since we had already reserved days ago, the reference only explained that this was the only table she had. we could now take or go again and in 15 to 20 minutes try if there is another table. My demand for us to have got the bigger table if we had come before the group we just appeared before us, replied: this is too late now. I can't do this now. We left it locally and eat it very well there. the italia is eaten for us and removed from our menu."

"Wir wollten unbedingt Spargel essen und entschieden uns für dieses Restaurant. Die Preise sind recht hoch, aber für gutes Essen sind wir bereit mehr auszugeben. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Der Spargel war viel zu weich, also verkocht. Das Schnitzel als Beilage ist tiefgekühlt und ging einfach in die Fritteuse und war aus Schwein. Eine Frechheit dafür so viel Geld zu verlangen. Entsprechend hat es geschmeckt. Sehr schade ums Geld! Offensichtlich will man hier einfach die Touristen abgreifen, die eh nicht wiederkommen. 2 Sterne gibt's für das kalte Getränk und die Sonne die wenigen Plätze draußen vor dem Lokal küsste.Das nächste Mal gehts lieber zur McDonald's 30 Meter entfernt."

"An einem Samstag Abend ein Service Desaster erlebt. Vorab: Essen - Sehr gut, 5*, da gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Aber der Service: Katastrophe! Keine Tischzuordnung, schmutziges Geschirr stapelt sich auf den Tischen, 3 Servicekräfte inkl. Hotelmanager umgarnen derweil 2 Blondinen während 3/4 der Restaurantbesucher verzweifelt zu bestellen versuchen. Hauptspeise wird mit dem Hinweis "Der Lachs ist, glaube ich, aus, dann nehmen Sie das Gericht ohne den Lachs, nicht wahr?!" angeboten. Erst nach aktiven stoppen eines Kellners und dessen missmutigem abräumen der seit 30 Minuten vor einem stehenden Teller gelingt die Bestellung einer Nachspeise.Selten bis nie haben wir derart ignorante und dem Service feindlich gegenüberstehende Mitarbeiter erlebt. Wir haben die Bewertungskarte abgegeben, aber wir erwarten keine Reaktion. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, das das Restaurant dem 4* Bergström-Hotel zugehört eine absolute Unverschämtheit und peinlich bis ins Mark. Schade, dabei ist die Küche so gut"

"Allow my general opinion first, please: I'm a bit surprised about the excellent rankings of Restaurants and Hotels in Lüneburg- they are 0.5-1 star too high compared to other international destinations. Taking this into account my feedback regarding Ristorante Buona Sera is very good and that's what it is. Pizza is very recommendable and delicious - all fresh ingredients, crunchy dough, not too much cheese. Very good wine list. The Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulziano 2007 was a good pick and compagnion. Attentive service. Overall a great alternative to the big Bergström-dominator in Lüneburg which didn't convince us Restaurant-wise at all and we were obliged to eat there for 3.5 days."

"Ich war auf Empfehlung des Hotelinhabers in dieser Pizzeria. Vor gut zwei Jahren bin ich schon mal in der vom selben Inhaber (Gabriele Penserini) geführten Osteria gewesen. Der damals schon exzellente Eindruck ist bestätigt worden. Eine richtig gute und tolle Pizzeria! Ein aufmerksamer und persönlicher Service von zwei jungen Damen, ein Inhaber, der die Pizza noch selber mit viel Liebe und Herzblut zusammenstellt - wo findet man das noch? Die Karte ist überschaubar, was ich gut finde, weil es darauf schließen lässt, dass mit frischen Produkten und Zutaten gearbeitet wird. So ist es - ein leckerer, einfacher, aber gut angemachter Tomatensalat mit frischen Brot als Vorspeise. Die Pizzaempfehlung: Pizza mit frischen Spargel, Parmaschinken und Ruccola - großartig, einfach lecker. Ein krosses, flaches Pizzarad mit reichlich frischen Zutaten! Ich habe in den letzten Jahren selten eine so gute Pizza gegessen. Der Chef selber wünscht an den Tischen "bon appetito" und erkundigt sich, ob alles passt! Am Service und an der Qualität können sich viele ein Beispiel nehmen - ich würde jederzeit wieder hier essen mögen!!!"

"Wenn ein kritischer Mensch wie ich hier volle 5 Punkte vergibt, heißt das natürlich, dass "Das Kleine" eine tolle Leistung abgeliefert hat. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, vergleichbares ist in Lüneburg auch deutlich teurer zu haben. Also nicht von der "touristischen" Lage irritieren lassen. Zudem sehr freundlicher fähiger Service mit Durchblick jederzeit und Arbeit im Team zu Gunsten der Kunden. Gute Auswahl an auch ausgefallenen Speisen, ausgezeichnete Küchenleistung, ebenso bezüglich der Portionsgrößen. Die Karotteningwersuppe war - mal eine Abwechslung - nicht komplett püriert sondern brachte noch Gemüsestücke mit, prima Idee. Spitze war der Matjesbagel, sowohl als Idee als auch in der Ausführung und nicht zuletzt bei der Matjesqualität. Hätte ich nicht noch ein anderes Lokal testen wollen - ich wäre glatt noch 2 x wieder gekommen nur für diesen Matjes! Netterweise auch ein kleines, ebenso vernünftig kalkuliertes Weinangebot - ich freue mich auf die nächste Tour nach LG, dann auf jeden Fall wieder mit Einkehr im "Kleinen"!"

"Wir waren bisher schon einige Male dort Gyros holen. Leider ist es ein bisschen chaotisch dort - Bestellung wird nicht aufgeschrieben. Daher läuft manchmal nicht alles glatt bzw. man wird mehrmals gefragt was man wollte.Nun haben wir zum ersten Mal etwas anderes als Gyros gegessen und was soll ich sagen... es war ein Fehler. Während das Souflaki noch ok war waren die Suzukis ungenießbar (Konsistenz und Geschmack!)Sehr schade. Also in Zukunft nur noch Gyros/Pommes!"

"Wir waren drei Tage in Lüneburg bei verschiedenen Restaurants zu Mittags- und Abendessen und bei Buddha hatten wir bei weitem die beste Erfahrung sammeln können. Wirklich jeder aus unserer Gruppe war begeistert von der Qualität der Gerichte. Diese kamen erstaunlich schnell und die Preise waren bei der Größe der Portionen mehr als gerechtfertigt. Die Bedienung war äußerst zuvorkommend und höflich, sowas habe ich wirklich sehr selten gesehen. Die Räumlichkeiten inklusive Toiletten waren ebenfalls sehr sauber. Wenn ich wieder in Lüneburg bin, wird dies meine erste Wahl für ein Abendessen sein."

"Despite only being a table of two persons and arriving before 7pm, we could only just be accommodated in a small room on the third floor (dining is also possible in various rooms of the ground floor, first floor and cellar as well as the biergarten. The menu card contained many classic German dishes and I particularly enjoyed the cream of potato soup for starter with a good solid, sausage and sauerkraut dish for main course. The food was well cooked and promptly served in spite of it being very busy with a mix of large and small groups dining. My rating would have been 4/5 but for the fact that they run out of one of their own brews that I had wanted to try but overlooking that, a solid 4/5 dining experience."

"I would like to take a day trip by bus to a nice city during the Advent season. Of course, you could also use the car, but parking search and waiver of a glass of wine or glow wine? must not be. We were looking for Lüneburg as a target. Since the departure time from Syke took place in the morning, we were there at noon. It was raining in streams so that we drove the next restaurant. The outer area is a bit tied together, but the visible is very nice. A short look at the suspended map and we were already in the dry. A rather huge interior received us, tables on bare planes let the hall character blur somewhat. We were greeted nicely and were looking for a table in the back area on an empor with a good view towards the entrance. The operation brought us the cards. On the day card my favourite was: the pasta with scampi and that for 9.50, and I ordered a glass of white wine. My friend took the same with a dark beer. We had time to look around. Above the entrance there is a second level, even here are tables. On the right is a quite long tresses, which was decorated with Advent decoration. In general, I found the decoration very appealing, tasteful and not overloaded. We thought about what this room reminds us: a theatre? the hall of a hotel? The service brought our food and also the dissolution: a cinema was in here once, clearly Capitol could have come on. The deep plates were covered with rocket, the pasta in a red pesto and also the shrimps were visible. The dish tasted us very well, a mild sharpening and the pasta on the point allowed us to swoop. The wine also had the right temperature, just delicious. Conclusion: I can only recommend the price-performance ratio is correct and the ambience also fits. That's why we're just before we had to get back to the bus, here again we came back for a drink."

"Das Schallander in Lüneburg ist ein Restaurant/Café mit gemütlicher Kneipenatmosphäre. Die Einrichtung ist etwas alt, aber sehr urig - man fühlt sich hier sofort wohl. Es gibt einen kleinen Raucherraum mit großem Fernseher, auf dem Sport lief. Da der Raucherraum vom restlichen Raum durch eine große Glasscheibe getrennt war, konnte man den Fernseher auch von einigen der Sitzplätze sehen.Die Karte bietet eine kleine Auswahl verschiedener Speisen - da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ich hatte die Tomatensuppe, die ganz offensichtlich frisch gemacht war und sehr gut schmeckte. Auch die Schafskäsetaschen waren empfehlenswert. Die Portionen waren sehr ordentlich, die Preise günstig. Auch bei den Getränken gab es eine gute Auswahl - besonders gut fand ich die Lüneburger Faßbrause. Auch die Getränke waren günstig. Das Schallander ist ideal, wenn man einfach nur essen will und es nicht "schick" sein muß, sondern man einfach nur gutes Essen zu soliden Preisen will. Auch für Abende mit Freunden ist es super.Das Personal war sehr nett, der Service sehr schnell.Zusammenfassend: bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Lüneburg werde ich sicher wieder hier essen gehen !"

"Wir kennen das Bacchus in Lüneburg recht gut, allerdings nur als Lieferservice.Vielleicht oder vermutlich gibt es, meiner Meinung nach, bessere griechische Restaurants in Lüneburg und Umgebung; als Lieferdienst ist das Bacchus in jedem Fall prima!Die Lieferzeiten liegen zumeist zwischen 30 - 45 min, die Preise sind durchschnittlich und die Mitarbeiter freundlich und verbindlich.Die Speisen selbst sind lecker, die Auswahl ist recht groß und bei Anlieferung sind die Portionen noch ausreichend warm.Als Lieferservice ist das Bacchus eine Empfehlung wert."
