"I've been eating here before. I usually go to the Cevap court. between 5 and 15 pieces meat (10-20CHF.) Swiss bark meat, fresh and great aromas of grill. stuffed in some fresh, fluffy brot. they can get different sauces. on the side ( pay extra if they want extra sauces.) I like the one with garlic, fresh cheese sauce and of course the chilisauce. in addition are also burger, leber, fries, grilled vegetables, salads, sausages and desserts on the menu. refreshing drinks and beer. the owner and the staff are nice and friendly. but be ready to wait a Wee bit, but it is worth definitiw, as eating is freshly prepared. besides the Swiss bark meat, most other ingredients are also local, fresh guaranteed. there are some tables, but you could take off. even better if they call to place their order, so it won't wait when they pick it up. a great little place to get a really good, fresh almost food."

"Pleasant restaurant of the Hotel de la Paix. The starter, apart from a good salad of toasted nuts, was the curious Küchenzauber that includes a variety of different dishes: a battered fish, two magnificent tartars, one with meat and the other with avocado and tomato, an excellent roast beef and in between On the plate, a fruit skewer with a small plate at the base with tartar sauce, as well as a delicious ham and cheese sauce and curiously a small cup of white garlic; to play with combinations. The second was the traditional Fritschipastete, an exquisite puff pastry filled with mushrooms, pieces of meat and beef sausage and lots of vegetables, all in a cognac sauce; filling dish, perfect for sharing. Very delicious raspberry tiramisu and coffee ice cream. Good wines, well chosen and good service."

"It's a very cozy and high-quality place, my favorite is the artisanal burger and here there is a colorful selection for everyone to choose from, even if you're vegan. The service is great, everyone is kind, the only negative thing I noticed that can be corrected is the menu, it's only in German, which is a it's problematic in a touristic city, but if you don't understand it, you can ask, but everyone decides for themselves if it's better"

"I surprised my lovely wife with lunch at Bolero for her birthday and the Bolero team delighted her with a great dessert surprise. Thank you very much again for this great unexpected surprise, it was really successful and we were both very happy, and by the way the service was extremely friendly, attentive and perfect. The food was freshly prepared from A to Z, seasoned with love and served with joy and we enjoyed every bite. Even though we don't live in the region, we will definitely come by again. "Ordered on uber eats: With the chicken satay, the chicken wasn't cooked through at all and the meat had no taste at all. When it comes to sweet and sour chicken, the breading is completely soggy and not edible. Unfortunately, fried rice was the only edible thing of the whole thing."

"The food was really great especially pizza’s! apart Spaghetti Vongole which was insanely bad by all the means. But I just can’t give them 5* and let me explain you why.. this restaurant if we can call it like that is far away from Family friendly place. we were 3 people with a small child. We have ordered salads for starters and for the child we took pizza. I explicitly told them to bring the pizza with salads at the same time, as also i have mentioned that the child will eat pizza.. we got salads and no pizza. I mean thanks god that our child was polite and didn’t make the scene, even though she was starving.. we got the pizza with rest of our mains in the next 40min.. the most frustrating point was that they kept bringing food for the tables that came much later than we did. Not even to mention how spaghetti alla vongole situation was held the owner i guess? asked what was wrong with it, as I tried just few bites and had to leave full plate. I explained him really politely and I didn’t complain, I genuinely admired the good pizzas, but what the guy said was “ oh, this one is one of our most popular dishes, i don’t know why you didn’t like it, everybody likes it” dafuq? How arrogant can one be? Of course we were charged for the pasta and this person didn’t even properly said goodbye or apologized? This review is just for improvements. Best regards."

"The taste of the food was super good. We have some points to share, the Campari had way much sparkling water than needed (look the photo attached) the flavor from Campari was almost gone. We asked to bring the starter first but they brought some main courses with the starter which made it uncomfortable to eat. (We asked twice for that but still we got the food in a bad timing). It is pricey but the portions are also quite big."

"Wir waren spontan ohne Reservierung dort und wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Der Kellner wies uns einen Tisch am Fenster zu und reichte uns die stilvollen Speise- und Weinkarten. Kurz nachdem uns die Getränke gebracht wurden, kam auch schon ein kleiner Gruß aus der Küche. Dafür großen Dank und ein riesen Lob! Der Tische sind sehr geschmackvoll geschmückt und dekoriert. Der Serviettenhalter ist aus Horn gemacht und dadurch jeweils immer ein Unikat. Ich habe hausgemachte Pappardelle mit Tessiner Schinken bestellt. Dieses Gericht hat volle 5 Punkte verdient. Genau wie das Ambiente und die sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Kellner.Lediglich die bestellte Pizza hat nicht in das sonst so runde und ausgezeichnete Konzept gepasst. Der Boden war zu weich bis wabbelig. Deshalb 1 Stern Abzug. Vielleicht hatten wir an dem Tag auch nur Pech. Ansonsten ist das Lokal absolut zu empfehlen. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen."

"Lokal ist klein und dementsprechend laut, wenn Full House ist. Service versuchte mit den begrenzten Sprachkenntnissen zu unterstützen und war nie unfreundlich. Bestellung schnell und einfach, aber das Servieren dauerte sicher über 15-20 Minuten. Als Überbrückung haben wir Aperitifs genossen. Anschliessend wurde die Vorspeisen serviert, die ok waren und anschliessend die Hauptgerichte. Pasta waren al dente und top. Vongole und Cozza Muscheln waren ein Genuss. Dessert Tiramisu schwamm zwar im Kaffee, war aber oberhalb der Löffel Biskuit luftig. Komme gerne wieder.Wer kein Lärm ertragen kann oder laute Gespräche, sollte dieses Lokal nicht aufsuchen."

"I was in awe when I received my food and took a first bite. Everything was so flavourful and delicious, freshly prepared in house and from the best quality ingredients. I found this place simply because was the closest to the hotel we stayed, just around the corner. Luckily we get last table without the reservation on a busy Thursday evening. The service was good and we got our food quite quickly considering the amount of guests in the restaurant at this point. The menu is not big but I'm sure everyone will find something for their taste. I was so hungry I couldn't skip starter, so I ordered bruschetta and it was amazing. The fresh tomatoes were almost sweet and the bread was crunchy. The homemade raviolis with spinach and ricotta accompanied by buttery sauce were melting in my mouth, tagiatelle were perfectly cooked al dente and the sauce rich. I heard the meat was tender and also melted in mouth. I had to try a dessert so I went for panna cotta and they delivered. Sweet and creamy. I would gladly come back if I ever visit Lucerne again. If you love pasta go and try this place out."

"Unfortunately the bad overshadowed the good and diluted the experience for us. 1) they charge you for tap water: beware! unless you want a nice surprise waiting on your bill 2) small portions: I ordered a dal makhani and palak paneer. The palak paneer came with rice, while the dal makhani came by itself. The dal makhani was almost the same price as palak paneer when you consider that the palak paneer comes with rice, and yet, the dal makhani was served in a desert size bowl. When I asked about it, the waiter could only answer that this is a manager-led decision. 3) Manager: while the waiter seemed nice, the manager appeared inconsiderate. Not that he was rude or offensive, he just did not seem hospitable. I went to clear the bill expecting to share my feedback directly, but he was nowhere to be found. Finally bumped into us outside the restaurant, when I had to tell him that he could find my feedback here on Google reviews directly."

"Warmer Samstagabend, netter Empfang unsere Dreiergruppe. Beginn mit Walliser Chardonnay leider nicht so nach unserem Geschmack, da wenig gehaltvoll. Wir nahmen alle zwei Vorspeisen: Terrine de foie gras mit confit und danach das Medaillon de foie gras mit confît. Die Terrine war sehr lecker, wunderbar abgeschmeckt, sehr feines confît, schöne Größe. Preis 27. obere Grenze aber ok. Das Medaillon hätte für uns etwas stärker angebraten sein dürfen; ein wenig fleur du sel darüber wäre nicht fehl am Platz gewesen. Es gab nur ein kleines Medaillon, wofür dann der Preis von 27.50 nicht mehr ganz stimmte. Uns begleitete nun ein Rosé, der offenbar gut war, bzw. ein Französischer Sauvignon, der sehr sehr fruchtig, mundend und passend zum Essen war. Weinpreise (bis auf den Chardonnay) ok.Hier passierte dann in unseren Augen die erste Peinlichkeit und Schweizerische Bünzliheit , als nach dem 8. Glas Sauvignon (bei 2 Personen) ein Minirest von etwa 3 Schlucken in der Flasche verblieben ist und der Service diese nicht noch eingeschenkt hat. Alle drei Personen nahmen ein Dessert. Das cremige Eiskaffee mit Kirsch war schön cremig, es hatte genau die richtige Menge Kirsch drin, und dieser war sehr schmackhaft. Zwei Personen nahmen noch Kaffee, und hier passierte dann unseres Erachtens die zweite peinliche schweizerische Bünzliheit : es gab für die dritte Person kein Friandise , weil sie ja keinen Kaffee hatte. Auf Input, dass wir das kleinlich fänden, wollte der Service den Chef schicken, der es aber offenbar nicht für nötig hielt, persönlich vorbeizukommen (und neue Gäste zu gewinnen). Fazit des Abends: es wird kein neues Stammlokal werden, da die nahe liegenden Restaurants Rosenburg in Stans oder das Belvedere in Hergiswil viel mehr zu bieten haben für das gleiche Geld."

"in fact there is nothing about the situation (over the dergleise in the main station,) to complain about the installation ambiente and the service. we are new in everything (commercial eating) and have rather always cooked and prepared to house itself and maybe we are a little pampered with the quality and taste of the food itself. Maybe it's just a taste. Maybe it's just the slightly lean selection to the breakfast. we can come back, but try something for the somewhat later meal times, such as lunch and dinner meals. ps: it is extremely difficult to find in the central Swiss restaurants that offer a large selection of vegetable breakfast dishes. there is actually nothing about the situation (over the glow in the Lucerne main station,) to complain about the installation ambiente and the service. we are new to this whole thing (plant-based eating) and have cooked and prepared everything to house quite always and maybe we are a bit spoiled with the quality and taste of the food itself. dinge, who tend to keep people from eating vegan, that is. "War heute mit meiner Freundin im grottino. Zum Glück haben wir reserviert, ohne Reservation geht nicht, sagt ja schon einiges! Es ist einfach ein super gemütliches, urchiges Restaurant mit hervorragendem essen. Es gibt abends ein Menü , entweder 4 oder 5- Gang, was einfach nur perfekt gekocht wurde. Von A bis Z fein geschmeckt und die Regional verwendeten Produkte runden das ganze ab. Der Service.....zuvorkommend, freundlich, mit Leidenschaft dabei, das ist zu spüren und absolut fachmännisch! Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv öfter in Zukunft! Falls ihr noch nicht da wart, nix wie hin!!!"

"A charming restaurant in the old town, right on the water; The large windows allow a view outside (there is also outside seating). The restaurant is attractive and beautifully decorated, the lighting is pleasant, the atmosphere is very good, you immediately feel at home! Although the place was well attended, it was acoustically pleasantly quiet (no disturbing music either). The waitresses were all very nice and attentive. The menu is pleasantly small, but there is still enough choice. The meal was excellent; The various components are well balanced, with intense aromas and excellent bread is also served. The price performance ratio is very good; All in all a wonderful evening, not the first nor the last time!"

"In Luzern and want to have some Indian food? You definitely need to come to this restaurant for some great Punjabi cooking by Punjabi chefs! This is a simple, laidback restaurant with warm service and good North Indian food. We loved everything. The freshly made nimbu pani (sweet and salty lemon soda was incredibly refreshing and I highly recommend it, it is honestly the best I have had in Europe+UK! The butter-laden garlic naan was fabulous, Dal Makhani and Butter chicken were equally delicious, and the paneer was wonderfully soft. The flavour of the curries was not typical restaurant-style, felt more homely, which was a welcome change. The spice and salt levels were perfect throughout. Our mains were also accompanied with some sliced onions, green chilli oil (which went wonderfully with the onions and a proper, Punjabi mango pickle (homemade of course, and as good as it gets! . The prices were a little steep but we didn’t mind too much because we thoroughly enjoyed the meal."

"It's a great place for asian food! They serve vietnamese, laos and thai food. We're trying their sweet and sour chicken and chicken satay. Absolutely amazing and the price is also great. It cost us 19.5 chf for the medium-sized sweet and sour chicken. Will be back when i visit Lucerne city again."

"Die Auslese finde ich dicht gefächert und bisher hat was auch immer ganz und gar bombastisch gemundet, was ich vor mir serviert bekommen habe.Aus meiner Sicht ist ein Abstecher da durchweg zu empfehlen.Alle Tische wurden makellos geputzt und die Sitzgelegenheiten waren ungemein bequem.Wirklich schneller und netter Dienst.
