"My lovely wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner one evening as we were staying nearby. The decor is stylish with bright colours and some lovely photos of India adorning the walls. It's a large place so there's no need to worry about reservations....The menu is lengthy with a good selection of vegetarian options at the back. Prices are quite high when compared to similar places back in the UK but everything is served with rice. We ordered a spicy aubergine curry and some paneer kofta. Both were pretty good though not entirely authentic. The only real downside was the service, which was pretty slow. It took about 15 minutes to get the bill and they really weren't that busy. They then claimed their credit card machine was broken meaning we had to pay in cash. The waiter then seemed very reluctant to give us our change. Total cost including a beer each was €37 which is reasonable value."

"we have chosen be thai style due to the good ratings and were then perhaps disappointed by the high expectations. the highlight were the appetizers, while the main dishes left a twofold impression the lamb dish was badly cooked, a dish was ordered extra as original thai sharp that was then initially forgotten and then simply over the finished dish was a sharp sosse tipped that from the sharp simply did not fit the dish. "Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen, sind hervorragend und äußerst freundlich bedient worden. Klar, es ist ein wenig laut, es war ja auch jeder Platz besetzt und in der Lage kann man jetzt kein kuscheliges romantisches Restaurant erwarten. Aber das Essen war hervorragend und da wir uns diesmal für die italienische Karte entschieden haben, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt. Selbst die Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt, und es war ein wahrer Genuss. "This restaurant was our favourite in Munich we couldn't wait to come back and came two nights in a row. The food was so delicious- amazing flavours, large portion sizes and all tasted very fresh. The price was really affordable for what we experience...in Munich too. For €11.90 we had a large main meal and a big slice of cake. Our waiter was super friendly and helped us with translating the menu to English. Quick service and great atmosphere. Lots of veggie and vegan options but the flavors are so delicious, meat eaters will definitely love too! Cannot recommend enough"

"I spent the past weekend in a few to make various sporting events with my sweet friend and after the football game we decided to eat Greek and he said he knew the perfect place. we came to irodion without reservation on a busy Saturday and were welcomed and the host found us a table and for the next 2 hours we were served by the waiter team who were fabulous. family managed and it shows in the passion of the service. the dishes were excellent, meatballs, lamb, the garlic tasty eating was delightful. wein is plentiful and not overpriced. the dining room is attractive and clean. beautiful evening!"

"I visited bento ya twice on my trip to Munich. the first time I came by to take along and they made my order super fast, I had to run a bit to return to my hotel, but the sushi still tasted fresh when I had the opportunity to eat it! time when we had dinner, another experience, but still great! I would definitely recommend booking a table if they can, but they are wonderful as they bring them to a place as soon as possible. are they aware that they may sit with others, which did not bother my small group of 3 people at all, as we met a lonely traveling and entertained us well. the food was again delicious and plentiful. I would recommend bento ya at any time."

"Erstmal vielen vielen Dank für den wundervollen Abend. Mein Chef und ich besuchten das Essence am 28. Mai. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und begannen den Abend mit einem frisch gezapften Weizen. Die Chefin des Hauses begrüßte uns und ging auf alle unseren Wünsche ein, so dass wir uns auf ein wundervoll zusammengestelltes 7 Gang Menü mit Weinbegleitung freuen durften. Als Aperitif mixte sie uns sogar einen Martini-Cocktail der nicht auf der Karte stand. Zusätzlich servierte sie uns noch ein Amuse, welches eine Tomatenessence war.Die 7 Gänge bestanden aus ( ich hoffe ich kriege sie noch alle zusammen )1. Gang - Carpaccio von der Rotgarnele / Jakobsmuschel / Erbsenpüree / Tomatengel2. Gang - Rindertartar / Senfeis / frittiertes Wachtelei / getrocknete Kapern / Röstzwiebelcreme3. Gang - Softshellcrab / Hummer / Estragon / getrüffeltes Blumenkohlpüree4. Gang - Variation vom Lachs5. Gang - Kalbsbries / Lauchpüree / sautiertes Gemüse6. Gang - Simmentaler Rind - Filet, Mark, Ochsenschwanz / Spargel-Tarte & Pürée / Tete de Moine7. Gang - Rücken vom Limousin Lamm / Salzzitronenjus / Parmaschinkenbohnen / Olive / PolentaDie Kombination aus Essen und Wein war weltklasse. Das Essen an sich war sehr gut abgeschmeckt und auch an der Anrichteweise bemerkt man, dass die Jungs ihren Job lieben. Da wir selber aus der Gastronomie kommen hat es uns brennend interessiert wie die Küche aussieht und dies wurde uns auch erlaubt. Den Abend beendeten wir mit einem sehr schönen Gespräch mit dem gesamten Team. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl und willkommen. Großes Respekt an das Team des Essence. Wir kommen wieder."

"Went there with friends from another city, the ambience was nice and we were probably the first customers on a Sunday. The food arrived pretty quickly and while placing on the table the waiter was loud in saying bohot garam hi and we realized that...it wasn't even warm enough. The veg dish had big chunks of aloo and Gobi and all the dishes had large pieces of bell pepper (it was probably used as filler). The worst part was, the food dint even taste bad, IT TASTED STALE, even chicken smelt weird. They probably served the left over from previous day(s). That was such bad experience and disgrace to Indian cuisine. Next time we went to this gem of place called Siddhartha at Zehentstadelweg It is outside the city and a bit expensive but worth every bit of it."

"Mittags waren wir mal auf einen Teller Nudeln und total zufrieden. Freundliches Service, es gibt auch Wasser aus der Leitung für 3 €!Bei dem herrlichen Spätsommer verbrachten wir einen Abend auf der schönen Terrasse hinterm Haus. Ein kleine Enttäuschung war meine Kalbszunge, da sehr bissfest (das kann ich zuhause besser) und die harten Karotten sind auch nicht so meine Ding(italienisch?). Mein Mann hatte auch Pech mit seinem Lendensteak, es war mit vielen Sehnen durchzogen. Gut war wiederum, das es dann am Ende nicht auf der Rechnung erschien. Unsere Mitesser hatten mit ihrem Fisch mehr Glück, er war ausgezeichnet. Die Terrasse war gut besucht, sprich voll, daher dauerte es etwas mit dem Essen, aber ok, das Wetter war ja schön.Trotz des regen Andranges bleib der Service freundlich.Offener Rosé für 7,50€ entspricht wohl den gehobenen Münchner Preisen, ansonsten ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Wir werden demnächst mal die Pizzen testen."

Nous avons eu bien assez, le riz est servi à volonté et tout était excellent, goutu et magnifiquement assaisonné. Le personnel:Rarement nous avons vu un personnel aussi respectueux et aussi gentil.Nous avons passé un moment des plus agréable, les prix sont très correct et le petit verre de jus de fruit exotique reçu en même temps que l addition à couronner le tout. "The restaurant itself is really nice and recreates the bavarian atmosphere. The menu presents many local dishes and a large choice of beers and other drinks. We tried the Bavarian sausages plate, the Hunter's pork and the Roasted pork they were all good but the last one was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it and I will most definitely go back."
