"The Pizzeria Romantica is located in Nahestraße (L135) at the exit Neunkirchen (Nahe) to Selbach right. Pizzeria is obviously popular with locals like visitors to the nearby Bostalsee. The place was occupied until the last chair. We had reserved. Environment The decor is simple and comfortable, brown comfortable leather chairs and dark tables on earthly tiles, the guest room is divided into two pieces, on the white plastered walls. The restaurant has about 60 seats, we sat in the bright winter garden overlooking the street. Here was probably recently renovated, the old wooden windows were covered with a lot of color and the smell of fresh color was still a little disturbed. White table runners on the tables and the cover were neat, everything looks very clean and neat. Service The service at the table, by two female service staff, was friendly and very fleeting. There was nothing to complain about. Unlike the service, the kitchen – so much before – could not convince. And then I have to admit that it doesn't really surprise me either. The Romantica is run by the Jagtar Singh family and the kitchen not only offers a lush selection of Italian dishes, but also offers a variety of German and especially Indian dishes. In addition, the Indian German Italian cuisine also supplies outside the house. We chose Curry Chicken with rice and salad at 11,00 € and Rumpsteak al capone with sharp sauce, fries and salad at 14,50 € As a greeting from the kitchen there were two slices of garlic bread with fresh herbs. The additional salads came a few minutes after our order. A fresh leaf salad as a bed for many crisp, rasp carrots and herbal salad, unfortunately sweet, almost served on a middle dish, over which a huge stick strong mayonnaise-lasty homedressing, but still acceptable from taste. My wife loves Indian food, but was not satisfied with the curry dish at all, much too soft baked chicken breast pieces, suspicious tasting after TK goods, drowned in a spicy curry sauce and finally acceptable rice as a supplement. It wasn't a masterpiece of Indian cuisine. My choice, the steak court could score. The approximately 250gr heavy dump steak was not a premium piece that is not to be expected for the price, but the steak was extremely slim and streak-free, good-hanging, fried on the point medium and beautifully tender. The pommes were fine, but unfortunately also here the sauce has disappointed, a sweet dark finished bratsauce from the can, on spicy with abundant chiliflakes. The kitchen comes to its limits with various national specialities. The menu or home service card starts with Indian appetizers with number 101 and ends at number 358 with Rumpsteak with Pfifferlingen. In the kitchen it seems and must therefore be prepared a lot, so delicious salad, curry and roast sauce according to “big cuisine”, little creative and ambitious. So, according to nationality, you can choose from a number of sauces, there are among others cream, hunters, gypsy, minced meat, cream, tomatoes, fresca, brown and sharp sauce, Indian curry sauce, white wine sauce and sauce Hollandaise. Rating in detail: additional salad 2.5*, Curry Chicken 2*, Steak 3.5* Beverages: mineral water 0.7l to 2.80 €, Frascati 0.25l to 4.50€, two cherry liqueurs gave him the house conclusion: good service, but the kitchen comes with the oversized selection of various Indian, German and Italian dishes at their borders."
