"this could not have been better: excellent eating, great music, a fabulous atmosphere, and a team of owners and employees who make a performance from their work without the fun and the friolik who are forced or formulated. this was valentine night, and some of the dance...and singing the camaraderie with other diners later, was unique in this night, just one of these wonderful, unforgettable and unplanned occasions. yet we have left the feeling that there are many such nights in la locanda! to leave aside, this is still a small gem of a restaurant that is worth the few additional stops from the main railway station. it is by far the best Italian food that we had so far in nürnberg (four years measuring). a decent carpaccio of heavy fish was followed by an extremely intoxicating tagliatelle with truffles – as well as we both wished, we would not agree. a main carrier of the lamb was perfect – sweet rare meat and a rich barolo wine sauce. the second main quantity of mixed grilled fish was just as good, the fish tender and fresh. we tried to finish some cheese, and the selection was excellent. the wine list offers something for every budget and is well chosen. we're coming back!"

"As a family of four, we called in on the off chance of getting a table, on a Saturday night at the end of July, as we were stopping overnight in Nuremberg on our way to Hungary. We got lucky, and they seated us at...an outside table. The waiter was very helpful and charming, and with much pointing and Google Translate, we managed to order some pizza and drinks. The food was freshly cooked, piping hot, and delicious. On our way back from Hungary, we again stopped in Nuremberg overnight, and decided to try our luck again at Quo Vadis; this time it was a Friday night in early August, but once again, we were seated in minutes. On this occasion, the children again opted for pizza (no great surprise! however I chose the Penne with Gorgonzola and Pear, and husband went for Pappardelle with Salmon and Basil. Once again the food was an absolute delight, and was very reasonably priced. My husband and I, on this occasion, fancied a bottle of wine however with the cheapest bottle coming in at around £26, we decided a glass each would be sufficient! Overall, a lovely little restaurant, and if we're ever in Nuremberg again, we'd certainly go back."

"my wife and I prepared for a trip to France. we did not want to stay for lunch in one of the autohofs next to the carbahn. we wanted something special. nürnberg was our halfway stop and we wanted to go through the carbahn, so we were on the look for something special in this area. after a few minutes with tripadvisor we found a typical bavarian restaurant to the blue star. when we arrived, we found that it is not in the center of the city, but at suburbs, which is the great advantage (no staus). there is a private parking space for about cars. restaurant is divided into parts: pub and main restaurant. what was important to us is, bavarian/german food. we ordered two carvings with potato salad. it was delicious! the meal was great, a lot of potato salad. it was big, but not expensive. everything was perfect. the only minus is that only cash is accepted. it is worth leaving the autobahn and eating at the blue star. when I drive back through nürnberg, I will definitely visit this place again!"

"I'll start by saying that I'm Greek and I am very picky when it comes to Greek restaurants outside Greece. So, I hesitated when my colleague insisted we come here. I was so wrong!This is by far the best Greek restaurant I've tried outside Greece (honestly, it is better than most Greek restaurants in Greece). As you understand, I was really impressed and I am sad I hadn't visited earlier in one of my many visits in the area. The restaurant itself is classy, the service was excellent and very professional. They had a very nice selection of wines from various countries (though I strongly suggest to accompany your red meats with a Xinomavro wine variety, just amazing). Coming to the meats, we had an excellent variety of greek-cuisine appetizers as suggested by our waiter and I continued with a perfectly cooked prime rib steak. My colleague had shrimp kritharaki (risotto-like greek pasta). I had to try, just excellent. I decided not to try their desserts as I was too full. I'll report on these on another occasion, which trust me, will come soon."

"Great location with a very tasteful interior. Seating is loungy and comfortable. Service is friendly and very attentive. The menue has even vegetarian food, fish and Burgers, but Highlights are Steaks (and wine). We had 4 different Steaks and they all were superb and just perfect. Even sidedishes are not just sidedishes they are an extra add on to this fantastic meat. The winecard is endless and you will need a while to decid which wine you won't chosse... Don't forget your reservation it is not a hidden secret anymore."

The second dinner, everything was pre-arranged, set menu, but drinks were excluded...1/3 of the amount was wine, beers and grappa....nobody could double check the stated amount... It seemed we weren't treated properly, so that's the reason why we didn't go back for the last night..."

"we had a sad start, a grieving party for a death in the family. as we did not know exactly how many grieving guests would actually come, we had announced up to 70 guests. there were some more. for the nice host family with Greek roots and Franconian embossing no problem at all. they also did. there was cooked and served what the witness kept. the food came quickly and delicious on the table. both meat and vegetarian-vegan. by many guests we heard that they enjoyed it very much and also really tasted very much. the family of the host people and the services had a lot to do, to serve all the guests in a timely manner, but they could not have noticed a stress. many thanks! we felt very well with them and like to come back. then, however, for better occasion.Trotz of the occasion all found that it was a very nice common eating. we were already in a small circle at the tasting dinner.Current: whether in the beautifully decorated Greek ambiente (in contrast to many other typical Greek restaurants not kitschig!) or in the very cozy, covered (!) beer garden, where you can also sit out with flowing rain: here you sit properly, eat well and tasty and can be sure that eating is always freshly prepared. "I lived several years in California and knows how to taste a burrito! this burrito tastes nothing like a burrito should, it looks like a, but misses the idea of a burrito on several articles: flavored, meat preparation, wrap, sauces etc. but that is not the key problems. the personal lacks customer focus, which is to an unfriendly and accused customer, not to be clear enough. a man who works there cried out no reason to customers because he felt they should have been clearer with their order. the people who worked there fought over triviale things. do not recommend to go there as fake Mexican food made on a very German wise, bad customer experience and all this for burrito and drink."

"We've walked so often next to the restaurant, but somehow never managed to step inside until now. Because we came directly from a hike in the woods, the first thing was so wash the hands, and while I was waiting the rest of the people...I noticed the big hall. A waiter came and said that we're free to take a look inside even though it was not really in use due to the private occasion in the previous evening. The hall looked like a nice place to have some bigger party (and from the looks, there had been a weggind reception). As the weather was nice, we decided to sit in the beer garden. Note: you can't go there through the beuilding, but must go around it. The garden is really big and has a nice forestry like feeling. Looking at thea earlier reviews, I'm a bit confused: with us, the service worked perfectly. The waiting times to place the orders after selecting the food was next to nothing, and the waiter paid us a few visits (we were sitting a bit further from the main group) to verify everything was ok. The portions were big, and the food was of ok quality. Ok meaning that it had some minro things that could've been better, but it was very well edible as such. The one minus for me is that the shooting range behind the house was in active use, so there was a short period of time during which the noise affected the atmosphere. But what can you expect if the place is called Schießhaus Shooting house)."

The Spicy Lamb Curry was a 3/5 but the Chicken Prawn Skewers was 5/5. The food portions are so filling. You might as well have your lunch here! They even have a section of food for the note-so-hungry which include sandwiches and nachos! Chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream was delicious. The one with Bailey's cream would be liked by those who prefer alcohol in their ice-cream. A little bit compromising on the comfort end but all in all we would visit this place again!!!"

"We were at TwoSinn Meier's lunch and were partially disappointed. At a price of 41 EUR for a fillet steak I expect other supplements than hard pommes. On the Wolfsbarsch for 45 EUR the Gnocchi tasted very neutral, although they were declared after the menu as basil gnocchi. The desserts and the wines tasted excellent!
