"We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping, beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn't need it (in my opinion) the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked "English" to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany!). This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it's a great little restaurant we'd return to if we were staying longer."

"Discovered by chance in the first vacation in Oberstdorf, the Ondersch has become our address number 1 there (after testing some other restaurants on site). The concept with the division into two areas – street food and enjoyment – is unique and highly implemented. In both areas there are clear menus, which are changed more or less seasonally. Whether Comfort Food from the finest (in the street food area) or even more sophisticated cuisine (conventional economy) – you can see both that it is boiled with heart blood. All ingredients are of high quality, the processing and composition excellent. In particular, you can look forward to deliciously prepared meat with outstanding sauces. The service in particular in the enjoyment industry is looking for its same – extremely attentive and friendly, with a view to detail and fantastic wine recommendations. Even in street food, the service is good – but of course the larger number of guests do not compare it with the pleasure industry. As a “refresher” we have now also been shown several times that our appreciation of the restaurant is also valued (e.g. by retaining an appetizer not always on the map for us). The price-performance ratio is also absolutely justified in our eyes.All in all – for us now our absolute favorite restaurant. If we were to live in Oberstdorf, we would be regular guests. This is how we have to look forward to the next holiday and the related visits to Ondersch."

"Tartufo is actually an Italian glacier speciality that recalls truffles. But last night in the municipality of Olympia, Oberstdorf, we had not yet the pleasure of ambitious truffle dishes, but the pleasure of classic Italian cuisine. Here too, the Italian god of love Amor, asked the red flitzer of Sebastian Vettel to give the decisive tenths. We already know the top ten of heart, but we are here for the sixth time to make holiday. But we do not have the visit to the “must have” column, but let it arrive so that we should get a nice table shortly after 7:00 on Saturday night. If not, Plan B was already there. Since our first trip to Oberstdorf, my wife has always returned here, the location at Oberstdorfer Marktplatz was naturally very central and well located. I almost have the t-shirt on my back and belly. My wife suggested going out, I evacuated. Then again, so warm. I wanted to go before my wife. “You have your favorite dish here – Pasta Mista. Here they call it Tris Pasta, but only of 2 persons”. And I saw the beautiful operation again, she grinned us. “Do I have something to the aperitif?” We took nothing to the aperitif, an aperitif companion shouldn't come anyway. I took a 0.25 Carafe Montepulciano, with a water also 0.25. My wife chose a little Cola Light. For food, it should be the Tris Pasta for 13.90. We were asked if we want to know the noodles whether we have a wish or whether the cook can surprise us. We love surprises if there is no pure tomato sauce. Meanwhile, fish was served on our neighboring table. I think it was Dorade from the grill that was taken apart at the table, and salmon with Tagliatelle. The salmon court looked very good. After five minutes, the drinks felt professional in front of our eyes. After half an hour our two “Tris Pasta” plates came. They smell delicious. However, the noodles, starting from spaghetti, were too hot. These bathed in a tomato onion bacon sauce, tasted neat. The spaghettti almost al dente, a tick over it. Tastefully a highlight of the Penne Quattro Formagi. Beautiful cheese flavor without intrusive, beautiful consistency of sauce, slightly creamy, creamy. Great. The absolute highlight but the probably Covenience Gnocchi in a fruity spinach sauce. Magnificent cream spinach taste, with the Gnocchi – Fantastico. When I asked, I answered: “If it wasn’t so hot here in the restaurant, we would order a dessert and it tastes us.” Unfortunately, the answer you want to ventilate was not followed so that after dinner I would have to go to the door for five minutes. Short t-shirt pulled out, my muscular, naked upper body showed itself to beruffled, the shirt went out and on. After 10 minutes came the recommendation of surgery, the Tartufo is made home recipe. I don't know what that was, but it tasted brutally delicious. At first I thought the light brown top cream was a kind of nut cream, but that was creamy semi-frozen chocolate?, mocha? or nutis. I don't know, it wasn't explained on request either. It tasted fantastically unscanny creamy and fluffy. Under the base was somewhat harder frozen chocolate ice cream, probably still rolled into cocoa. As a filling in the middle there were bright bisquit ice, there could also have been a bisquit vanilla ice cream. It tasted excellent. The 6,90 were very good. Before paying, we asked if we like an espresso or a digistif. I chose a Sambucca, which was unfortunately drilled at 3.90 on the bill. This blurs the good overall impression again. The reduction due to tropical heat and the lack of cooling is available in the ambience, which is always quite simple in the Ristorante Tartufo image. An absolute gag on the men's room. The hanging Urinal Basin does not depend on the standard height of 80 cm, but a maximum of 30 cm. The Italian is a little smaller, but so small? It was funny anyway. Conclusion: Very good pasta, attentive service, price performance is fine. There's nothing wrong here. You're welcome!"
