"Does not give much to say, a beautiful little Italian restaurant with mega delicious food. Own stone oven, nice, friendly and attentive staff.Great plus point is that there is a very large selection of pizza that can also be ordered in gluten-free. The GF Pizza is unfortunately (as usual you have to say) a little smaller than the normal, but according to my friend is still Sau Lecker!If we are back in Oberstdorf, we will definitely be there again. "Wir sind nach einer Radfahrt durch den Regen, zu dritt, ziemlich nass und erschöpft auf der Alpe angekommen. Super nettes Personal begrüßte uns . Man hat sofort das Gefühl willkommen zusein. Trotzdem es sehr voll war. Wir nahmen im Überdachten Aussenbereich Platz. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und nach einigen Blicken auf die Teller, die auf unseren Nachbartischen standen, war klar, es sah alles MEGA lecker aus. Ich fragte die Bedienung ob ich statt Pommes Bratkartoffeln bekommen könnte und als sie mir dann zur Antwort gab, dass ich bestellen könne was ich wolle und das es bei ihnen im Haus kein Problem wäre, sich egal was es ist, zusammenzustellen, konnte ich das, als ehemalige Gastronomin, selbst kaum klauben. Aber so sollte es sein. Der Gast fühlt sich als König. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Der Preis für die Größe der Portionen völlig in Ordnung ich hätte es ehr teurer vermutet imVergleich zu anderen Alpen.Für Wärme im Aussenbereich ist auch gesorgt. Fälle und Decken liegen für jedem Besucher auf den Bänken bereit. Außerdem sind Heizstrahler am Haus befestigt, die Den Aussenbereich ebenfalls bei schlechtem Wetter attraktiv machen. Das Personal ist wie ein Bienenvölkchen. Fleißig und sehr freundlich und man hat das Gefühl, daß diese Freundlichkeit von Herzen kommt. Fazit: diese Alpe ist rundum 100% zu empfehlen, die Menschen die da arbeiten verstehen ihr Handwerk und lieben es. Sie haben ein Ampiente geschaffen, was Kilometerweit ihres Gleichen sucht. Vielen Dank, für die gute Zeit, die wir bei Ihnen verbracht haben und besonderen Dank an die nette junge blonde Bedienung mit Dutt ( leider weiß ich ihren Namen nicht ) aber mit ihr hätte ich früher gerne gearbeitet. Solche Menschen sind die pure Freude!Wir kommen wieder!!!"

"Small, relaxed nicely fitted out. of the party had streaks everyone was very happy with them. I went for the salmon, which was well seasoned. The big surprise for me was the spinach accompaniment I mean, spinach? It was amazing, a...total revelation never again will I dismiss this simple side. It was so well flavoured, not mushy, not chewy, just perfect. For this I can totally forgive the waiter for describing their tasty pancakes crème brulé, only to say that they were unavailable because they'd only just opened for the season hadn't had all their deliveries yet! Well worth a visit"

"We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping,...beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn 't need it (in my opinion the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked English to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany! . This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it 's a great little restaurant we 'd return to if we were staying longer."

"This restaurant is within one of Germany’s ice skating training centres with one of the windows looking into the ice skating rink. There is also an outdoor balcony with spectacular views of the mountains and the cable car that goes up the Nebelhorn. A quirky...busy restaurant with friendly staff that serve just lovely food and desserts. I’ve eaten here many times and loved it. Hence my return. Delicious Pizzas,Meat dishes and great tasting homemade soups. Well worth a detour. One can enter without going into the ice rink complex of there are ice rinks."
