"Wir waren mitten in der Woche mit einer kleinen Gruppe zum ersten Mal dort essen. Die Location an sich ist nicht sehr gemütlich, sondern eher einfach rustikal eingerichtet. So stell ich mir eine Tapas Bar in Spanien vor. Passt also. Die Geräuschekulisse war sehr laut. Romantisch essen gehen kann man hier eher nicht ;-). Trotz das es sehr gut besucht war, kam das Essen sehr schnell und hat überaus gut geschmeckt! wir haben viele verschiedene Tapas probiert, die wirklich alle durchweg sehr gut waren. Zum Abschluss gab es noch eine Kleinigkeit aufs Haus. Sehr nett!Preis Leistungsverhältnis war spitze! Die Preise der einzelnen Tapas war super, für das was da an Menge drauf war!!!!"

"das Essen war bei 3 der 4 Personen so weit ok. Allerdings ließen die Vorspeisen für alle die Raffinesse und den kulinarischen kick früherer Zeiten vermissen. Sie waren bescheiden, einfallslos und nichts, woran man sich positv erinnert. Das Lammhaxe schamm in einer öligen Flüssigkeit, die nicht als Soße zu bezeichnen ist. Das Fleisch war relativ fett und sehnig. Die Gemüsebeilagen war ölgetränkt. Die Beilage Kartoffelgratin war ebenfalls sehr fettig. Der Service wurde durch sehr unerfahrene junge Leute ausgeführt. Der leitende Kellner ist nach wie vor sehr hektisch und geht wenig auf die Gäste ein. Es wurde uns verwehrt in der oberen Etage zu sitzen, mit dem Argument, dort wäre nur eine Bedienung. Später musste wir feststellen, dass dort mehrere Personen saßen und scheinbar auch bedient wurden. Sind die oberen Etagen nur für spezielle Gäste reserviert? In der unteren Etage war es sehr laut, und ein Gespräch zu viert war schwer möglich. Fazit: so bald nicht wieder!"

You get 5 dishes for each session and a paper and pen to write down the next 5 dishes you would like. It functions well and the service was impressive."

The food-happy hour (50% in the early evening unfortunately no longer exists, since then I have not eaten in the Sausalitos anymore, because it is simply too expensive.
