"We held our mother's wake at the Smugglers Rest this past Tuesday, and they set aside a special area for us. It was absolutely perfect—the buffet was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially with the fire going, creating a cozy and relaxing environment. It was just what our family and friends needed during this time. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for everything! Price per person: £10-£20. Food rating: 5/5."

"This place is a gem! I had a delightful dinner for under £10, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The vegetarian burgers were delicious, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying. The criss cut fries were a fantastic complement, crispy and well-seasoned. The service was equally impressive, also deserving of a 5. The staff was friendly and efficient, making my takeout experience smooth and enjoyable. As for the atmosphere, even though I ordered takeout, I could tell that this restaurant has a wonderfully inviting vibe. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great vegetarian options at an unbeatable price!"

"Customer service was good but the dishes were not its a shame as I wanted to eat somewhere local and we love Thai food but green curry was like water no taste like boiled chicken in a creamy water and the rice was just pieces of cooked egg in rice and the noodles had no flavour with some peanut on top I hate to talk about local businesses but when you pay money and get this I thought this would of been better than Thai elephant but seem to be same bracket hopefully they will take this as constructive criticism and improve but I would not return"

"We went to this Pub for a Birthday meal as a party of people. of us chose meals with Sweet Potato Fries and both sets of Fries were cold. These were promptly sent back to the kitchen and returned to us frazzled, obviously been put in the microwave. Another diner had triple cooked chips and these were seriously overdone. The fish finger sandwiches were lukewarm and there was much more batter than fish as well. All in all this was a bad experience, made worse by the fact that it was the Birthday of one of the older members of our party. The management of this Vintage Inn are missing a trick here as this place has a fabulous location overlooking the ocean and a great decking terrace area but the view alone is not enough to make people return unless they just come for drinks, this is an opportunity missed."
