"On a dreary cold night when my wife was back in the UK, I decided to entertain myself. No other restaurant was open in Pontorson, so I went in. The restaurant decor reminded me of a previous time and it was just about empty. Two other tables occupied, so there was not much ambiance. Although there was a selection of pizzas, couscous, tajinnes, etc., I found the menu unappealing, so I opted for a steak. I was not expecting much, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It was tasty, tender and a good size. I thought that the dishes were over-priced. The welcome by la Patronne was very warm and friendly and she was very attentive throughout."
