"Casarella used to be a Corsican restaurant.It is located in the old Roquebrune village and is a quiet and nice location, although not accessible by car.It has been sold a few months ago, and has reincarnated itself in an Italian restaurant, more precisely Neapolitan.I decided to give it a try after a friend's advice.Being an Italian, I am often wary of Italian restaurants abroad, but I went along and gave it a try.What I found was a typical Neapolitan menu, with the addition of a few other Italian classics (carbonara, pesto).We tried several things and were surprised by the quality.The pasta was impeccably cooked, the sauces were made with the best Neapolitan tomatoes, the grilled mozzarella was fresh.Even the carbonara, although not a Neapolitan dish, was faultless.We then carried on trying the meatballs (polpette), and found them to be exquisite.We then tried a Pastiera Napoletana which is a difficult dessert to prepare, and one of my favorites. It was perfectly executed.We were then offered a limoncello (lemon based sweet liquor) and found it thick enough to be the real thing, and not a usual washed out imitation.Prices were more than reasonable and quality and service were faultless.The wine list was quite correct and the wines are listed at reasonable prices.Congratulations to the chef and the team for what they did. It is not easy to open a restaurant in a medieval village: cars cannot access it, it is difficult to carry groceries and to receive deliveries.They were courageous to open in such a location, and in my book, they deserve the praise."

"The service, atmosphere and view are spectacular! The food is good but not quite up there...FOODThe food is all organic, which is probably why the prices are astronomical for such small portions. You can really tell that the chef puts in lots of effort to to try and make it top class but I am afraid that the "organic" side of things is putting him into a corner. Yes, your dish will be the healthiest you've had in your life but like a lot of healthy food, it will not compare to something not as organic you've had at other amazing Monaco restaurants. GMOs and chemicals are, after all, used to enhance taste. My favourite part of the meal was actually the olive oil. They bring out 4 types and then tell you a story about each one, casually pointing in the direction the oil came from. Very interesting and delicious!ATMOSPHEREYou would have to be a snob to say that the atmosphere is less than perfect. The terrace overlooks the sea and you get to see busy Monaco on the opposite shore. Beautiful! There are wide umbrellas to provide some shade. Sitting there, listening to the waves crash beneath you, it is hard not to really truly relax. SERVICEAgain, absolutely amazing. It's like the waiters can *feel* that you need their attention. Always there, always polite and extremely knowledgeable. Some of the best service I've ever experienced."

"First of all, I'm really sorry for the girl and the lady who run and who seem really nice. and the view is absolutely beautiful. But sincerely I am amazed at the positive comments on the cuisine of this restaurant.Mise in the mouth offered: a small gaspacho with raw radishes and motte of butter (the gaspacho has returned in full kitchen as for the 90% of the other tables, too much garlic, strange taste). Entry: for me shrimp, for my companion a octopus tartar. Shrimps brought on two old salad leaves and sincerely a taste not fresh at all (I ate one) against the mayonnaise accompanying it was home and good. The octopus. arrived cut in lamelles with gelatin (never seen), horrible taste, just immangeable (in contrast good quantity).Plat: for me pasta in tomato sauce, pasta too cooked and sauce full of water but good, it happens. my companion: a assortment of seafood (couteaux, mussels, clams). with a kind of super strong persillad, to vomit, sincerely. I asked for a bottle of water, they brought us a carafe (no one died it is nothing) but even water had a very unpleasant taste. From there, no dessert, only coffee (reversed around the cup) and to finish a magnificent addition of €1,000. I agree with the fact that we pay the view (not the frame because we should do refreshing work) but frankly it's the worst €1,000 spent in a restaurant in my life."
