"Found this restaurant whilst I was wandering around town.Carved into the rock which offers an interesting setting and restaurant format. It is worth visiting the loo for the laugh value, even the owner appreciates it quirkiness and laugh factor! But seriously, what a find!!Fabulous food, fabulous wine and great chat with the owner about Eric Clapton, my husband was in heaven at this point!!!All of the food was cooked by the owners wife, who we also met and she was extremely charming. Not a huge menu, but I think that this reflects the specialties of the house and I prefer this rather than searching extensive listings...We really were fully satisfied with the starter and main and should not have had dessert, but what we saw others being served.....just had to indulge!!!Well worth the cobbled street climb for a truely amazing meal! One of the best I have ever eaten!!! Do go!"

Walls full of history and an excellent dinner! The reception may seem cold first.

Always a beautiful experience, a small menu of perfectly prepared dishes, a warm welcome and attentive service in an old vaulted cellar full of atmosphere. A must in Roquebrune Village. Ver carta

Great restaurant, which was quite unique serving excellent food at sensible prices. Run by the owners, The Inquisitor, I would go again and again one again it is the people that make a great place to eat.

Excellent restaurant, the kitchen is perfect, new products depending on the seasons, as well as fresh, homemade. A beautiful place to dine, with a calm and warm atmosphere and setting. The reception and service are irreproachable. A pepit like you rarely find it. I highly recommend!

As real foodies we decided to try this restaurant. Already when reserving a table we experienced great service as we also did throughout the evening. We especially want to praise the venison dish which was exquisite. The local couple running the restaurant are great and definitely know their business!! Ver carta

We were for the 1st in this magnificent restaurant and we were delighted by the picturesque site, the exceptional decor and the quality of what was served to us, without forgetting the map of the wines of choice. The bosses are adorable: Mr. in the hall and Mrs. in the furnaces. A harmonious couple that gave us taste buds! We'll go back. I recommend.

2nd evening "At the Grand Inquisitor", always as satisfied by the setting, the calm, the quality of the dishes as by the sympathy of the boss. My friend being allergic to certain ingredients is not always as simple.... Patron warned by telephone during the reservation he knew each time to manage this perfectly without drastically limiting the choices which proves that they are not prepared dishes in advance). We will return with great pleasure during our next stay in the area.

"the location was attractive. a small picturesque square slightly in draw with a foliage and Mediterranean charm. the restaurant had an outdoor terrace but we decided to eat inside. rustic decoration well maintained. abundance of natural stones and plaster walls of rustic color, nice vaulted type ceiling and terracotta tile floor. We loved him. the kitchen was visible on the path of the toilet and everything seemed chief, busy and good omen. Unfortunately, it's the end of the good news. My wife chose to start with the anchovies leaf and I am the raw ham. The anchovie was not good. Very strange flavor. Too salty. hard dough background. My ham was cut too thick, making the meal difficult. I had to ask for olive oil and gem salt. certainly not the best ham I've had. no comparison with parma or iberico. disappointing. the main dishes were the fish pot and the spaghetti with ceps. Both were a disaster. The fish were cut off. filled with small but important bones. the two rather sad gambas were small and boiled to death. the portion of fish and the quality at the price were bad. Maybe the bisque was swept. The pasta was not good and we left them. we paid 72 euros for this and a very small glass of medium wine and a bottle of flat water. I think chin food is usually not good. French are rather complacent and seem to believe that their historical reputation is enough. Not if. the area is very frequented by tourists and I guess most are unlikely to return to the area, so they think they can get away with it. It's a shame and I couldn't recommend this restaurant. we visit the family regularly to chin, so we would like to find a decent restaurant at a reasonable price. even our family seems to have a bad time. Why? It's the france."
