"I have been looking for years to find an Asian restaurant that could cook the noodles the same as the Asian restaurant that my family and I were on first name basis with the owner and well, I finally found it! The noodles were not the only GREAT part of the meal. The dumplings and chicken skewer and Pho Soup were just as amazing. Everything was fresh and full of flavor and properly cooked. I definitely recommend for a midday meal. Staff was friendly and tried to help us understand the menu even though they didn't speak any English they understood us."

"After exploring Rouen a little bit, we found out this restaurant. It was very busy that caught our attention, since some others were very idle. "about once a month at a wheel, I select this restaurant from the proximity of my appointment. My great surprise is to discover that this is the same kitchen as Arthur's bistrot. "Fresh seafood and excellent service. Very busy in the Friday noon we visited, but the team took our family friendly. "standard reception, don't expect a smile or a look in your eyes when you're talking to yourself. This starts well.The salmon crunch-monaster: very hard country bread slices of at least 3 cm thick each! question: how do you eat this 6 cm thick country bread with hard croute like wood all around!?? result: you ate a bit of the middle of the crunch, without the sides, and a little of the half of the thickness of a single slice. Who cares? The fries: immangeables! back to the kitchen twice. without apology from the chief ( apparently, he doesn't care). it was said that the fries were old, very old, recuited for example (this is only a supposition). Anyway, we're being brought with us a so-called "splendid purée" instead. result: bof! bof bof, nothing extra this purée, we didn't even touch it (after having tasted it). In summary, a missing welcome, an unmangeable food, a missing apology, a salty addition, but the service was nevertheless nice. That being, we will never return."

"Nous sommes venus à 9 en famille avec enfants. Table réservée le matin. Carte large et variée de crêpes et de boissons. Service attentionné avec petits et grands. L'occasion de goûter des cidres fermiers extra bruts ou des crus plus rares (Rouge Bruyère annoncé brut mais plus doux que brut). Pétillant de pommes apprécié par les plus jeunes. Service rapide au vu du nombre de clients en salles et en terrasse. Un mot gentil pour faire patienter et une continuité de service même en changeant de serveur. bravo. Plats convenables et bien chauds. Des variétés de crêpes pour tous les goûts et desserts à l'avenant. Avec ou sans Chantilly, demandes plus spécifiques des petits. Pas de supplément et conseil sur le menu enfant quant à son prix économique (7 € H.T pour une belle crêpe complète, un dessert glacé, une boisson). Addition à 150€ pour 9 avec deux bouteilles de cidres plutôt haut de gamme et un pétillant de pommes. Cela faisait longtemps que nous n'étions pas venus, nous avons apprécié ce début de soirée."

"Having been unable to get a table at our chosen restaurant we took pot luck on this one. After two weeks of wonderful restaurants I cannot say how bad our experience was. The fondue was without any flavour and the accompanying frites (they were not frites as I know them and were overcooked) were cool by the time the fondue was served. The salad, which amounted to a few lettuce leaves added nothing to the meal. We declined dessert and coffee and found an excellent creperie which saved out evening.We also found the décor depressingHaving read other reviews perhaps we were unlucky but will not be returning to see if that is the case. I wish I could say something positive but it would not be true. For what was served it was expensive."

"Très bon accueil ! Terrasse en arrière cours au calme cadre agréable isolé du bruit de la rue touristique. Le dîner était à la hauteur du cadre, raffiné et service effectué avec zèle et sympathie. Ce restaurant était choisi pour mes parents, âgés, qui aiment la gastronomie ! Ils ont été ravis du cadre mais surtout du repas. Nous avions choisi le menu impressionniste un doux bonheur pour nos papilles ! Le vin choisi était bon bien que le prix un peu exagéré ! Gevrey chambertin année 2013 à 95 euro ! Mais mes parents se sont régalés alors... Pour conclure très bonne adresse, prix élevé si consommation de bon vin ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour le cadre et le menu !"

"We're used to the badge. But not Rouen's. Employees are adorable. The choice of drink is very limited. No homemade drinks. But we were disappointed with quality and taste. The bread was not soft as usual. It was dry. Same for proportions, small. We came before the closure, maybe the lunch is cooler. So 3 bagels not really appreciated. We fell on the Cass'dal."

"Four of us enjoyed dinner here on Saturday night.We were hoping to have pot au feu but the waiter said the weather was not cold enough yet!Never mind: I had the choucroute (sauerkraut with various sausages) and two of my companions had the king prawns. The fourth was not so hungry and had the onion soup.It was all delicious and lots of it. This is a family-friendly place and it was soon full, mostly with locals as far as I could tell.Service was friendly and efficient and there are menus in different languages including English. Prices are very reasonable and this place (only a few steps from the cathedral) is certainly worth a visit."

"We took a foie gras to share in 2 (which is very well) and in dishes a horse crunch and salmon pie, with as dessert an apple pie with vanilla ice. We appreciated our meal, the products were fresh and tasteful. The underground room is less louder than the large room, we were in a cozy and calmed atmosphere very appreciable. The waiter always shows a big smile with some jokes, which is appreciable. A very good general experience near the Cathedral, 4 stars because it is not also the “best” restaurant we were able to try during our stay, but it does not degrade it."

"C'était vraiment très bon (c'est le principal !), l'accueil très attentionné, on était attendus, parking gratuit à 10mn à pied du centre de Rouen (on nous a laissé la possibilité d'y laisser la voiture même après le repas, le temps d'aller y faire un tour), le service rapide et sympathique, 30% de réduction par La Fourchette, réduction appliquée sans qu'on ait besoin de le préciser, bref tout était parfait ! Le niveau sonore est très calme, on peut parler sans hurler, les tables ne se touchent pas."

Hors hier, il semble que le serveur avait décidé de nous ignorer TOTALEMENT! 20 minutes d'attente durant lesquelles ce cher monsieur prenait bien le temps de fumer sa cigarette boire son verre et débarasser les tables autour de nous dans l'indifférence la plus totale. Je ne sais pas s'il s'agit du Patron mais dans tout les cas ce n'est pas une façon de traiter le client."

"Beaucoup d'attente pour la prise de commande, également pour le service qui est vraiment à revoir ! Obligé de réclamer plusieurs fois, d'aller chercher soi même du pain...De plus l'assiette charcuterie/fromage est vraiment limite, niveau charcuterie ça va mais pour le fromage on a eu 1/8 de camembert et une petite tranche de gruyère... Assiette à 10 euros quand même et qui est annoncé suffisante pour 3...Pareil pour "la farandole de fromage" de 2 fromages, le chèvre la tranche était correcte mais le neufchatel c'était vraiment limite aussi...En bref nous sommes vraiment déçus, ce restaurant en a beaucoup perdu, je le déconseille quand il s'agit de vouloir manger un bout entre amis."

"Visited this Italian restaurant with my Grandson while staying in Rouen. We had just arrived in the town and our first evening coincided with his 2nd year Uni results - which were good. We ordered Pizzas which were very good, then desserts, which were also good. The problem came when we ordered Calvados (a local spirit) to toast his good results We waited while we ate our dessert, and then the waiter came back with a huge plate of salmon and other shellfish. Apparently there was a problem with the communication of the order. The owner was NOT pleased that we did n't want this dish - why would we when we had just eaten large Pizzas followed by desserts ? There were raised voices and angry scowls (by the owner and waiter) and a jug of water was clashed down on our table. Fortunately our holiday guide happened to be passing and he calmed the fiery owner down, explaining that we had ordered the drink Calvados and not some similar sounding fish dish. (We had pointed to the drink on the menu when we ordered by the way). We had our Calvados drink but the episode did spoil the evening celebration rather. I could not face returning to the restaurant because of it. I later discovered that another couple had had a problem with the ordering. He ordered Escalope and was brought Scallops ! Better waiter communication is definitely needed.Having said all this, the food was VERY good."

"Were lucky to find a table for two on a busy Saturday that was full of English tourists. Unfortunately, after eating our starter we were made to move tables as we'd been placed on a table for 4 which was a bit awkward with our cumbersome coats. Luckily we got on well with the couple we were made to join! Enjoyed our starters of egg mayonnaise and vegetable soup. My partner went for the steak hache and I opted for the escalope Milanese. I thought this would be veal but it turned out to be chicken in a tomato sauce, not good. We didn't spot that the brasserie served omelettes and these looked very good as did the brochettes. Our chips were unfortunatly overcooked and greasy whereas our earlier neighbours' chips looked delicious. Just think it was too busy and it all became a bit chaotic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I think we would enjoy it here on a quieter occasion."
