"I love Indian food, but do not get to eat it very often anymore. Maharadscha is a small, unpretentious restaurant with an extensive menu that serves very good food. Three of us ate there this evening. My two guests were not especially keen on Indian food, but each found dishes to their liking and were not overwhelmed by the spices. For breads we tried the Garlic Nan, which I loved and, the Pappadams, which the ladies relished. That was followed by my carrot and Ginger soup that was nice. For main courses the ladies had a Thadoori Chicken Masala and a Mango Chicken while I had the Chicken Chili Masala. All looked pretty similar in their serving dishes, but the flavors were clearly different. The Chicken Chili Masala was marked as extremely hot, but this is Germany. I would call it simply spicey. We were all pleased with our meals and will return to the Maharadscha when in the mood for good Indian food, What I missed was Indian beer which goes better with the cuisine. I also miss the candied cumin seeds on the way out. That is such a nice way to top off an Indian meal."

"Leckeres Essen, aber nachdem wir schon öfter für 2 Personen sowohl abgeholt haben als auch haben liefern lassen (ca. 1,3 km Entfernung), hieß es beim letzten Mal: Mindestbestellwert für Lieferung 40 EUR. Das ist für 2 Personen viel zu viel. Eine Liefergebühr gemäß Entfernung fände ich fairer. Da es mir aus gesundheitlichen Gründen in den nächsten 3 Monaten nicht möglich ist, selbst abzuholen, gebe ich für diese Enttäuschung einen Stern weniger."

"Mein erster Ausflug in die spanische Küche und definitiv nicht der letzte - sehr leckeres Essen! Qualitativ hochwertig und gute Preisleistung. Absolut zu empfehlen und in Schweinfurt mal etwas völlig anderes bei toller Atmosphäre.Auf Grund der wenigen Plätze Reservierung definitiv nötig und empfohlen. Kleines Manko. Waren jetzt mehrfach da und die Bewirtung und das Essen waren durchweg top, wenn wir nicht mehr als sechs Personen am Tisch waren. Gestern bei 14 Personen kam das Essen nur nach und nach mit längerer Wartezeit zwischen den einzelnen Tapas, je nachdem was bestellt wurde. Darauf scheint die kleine Küche nicht ausgelegt zu sein."

"for several years I have visited this restauarnt one or two times a year, last on 08.05.2017 I am more common in the star scene. I was thrilled every time by the ball mill. my menu: baked calf head with a goose liver and red-bete salad, the calf head with a crusty and spicy panad, in juicy, tender and absolutely harmoniously shaved. the geese lebeerpraline with a nutty coat and a very fine smashed texture as I never had, with a delicious sweet-wine yellow, the red bete fine and with light acid. the longustino consisted of a perfectly roasted longustin in a kartoffel stroh, a mousseline, a juse dressed, a spoon style 3 all an optical and aromatic masterpiece. the stone butt on green and white Franconian asparagus with orange hollandaise was perfectly cooked by high craftsmanship and a hollandaise with an orange aroma with very bright acid and full fruit note from which I could not get enough. the thun fish with saffron sauce and risotto was simply delicious, the saffron super mild. the menus of the breast and the germ of the brittle pigeon were rounded with a kartoffel mousseline and a top souffle with chocolate sauce and pistachios ice cream. both courses were at the same high level. not to compare the quality of the menu and was clearly in the top of the 1 star rating. hut. the weinberatung was also absolutely paasend and went hand in hand with the arome of menus"

"Wir waren als Familie schon mehrfach hier und fühlen uns immer wieder sehr wohl. Wirklich einladender, freundlicher Familienbetrieb. Unser Lieblinsgessen ist hier ein Steak, was zudem eine gute Größe hat und jedes mal lecker war. Man muss schon ein wenig warten, da alles frisch gemacht zu sein scheint. Wenn es eine Pizza sein soll, dann geht es schneller aber nicht weniger gut. Pizza auch für zu Hause abholbar. Im Sommer ist der kleine Biergarten mit alten Bäumen eine Empfehlung. Für Kinder gibt es auch einen kleinen Spielplatz. Gäste sind auch mit Hund zu Besuch. Ambiente innen ist "gut bürgerlich". Unsere Kinder wünschen sich immer wieder einen Besuch hier, was will man mehr."

"We were here for dinner. We could choose a table since we were very early and everything was still free. We prefer chairs; we don't like sitting on benches without backrests. The menu is very extensive and we found and ordered something delicious. The drinks came quickly and the food came very promptly too. The food was fresh, very hot, beautifully presented, very tasty and plentiful. We were really full and it was very good. The price is right, the service and the staff are very nice. We'll be back!!!"

"Wir waren dort schon öfter essen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Immer gleichbleibend die tolle Küche mit sehr leckerem Essen ( Guacamole im Vergleich zum anderen Mexikaner in SW wirklich ein Genuss ) und der freundliche engagierte Service. "Wir sind heute Abend zum spontanen Geburtstagsessen hier her gekommen. Angesichts des Feiertages (1. Mai und Montag) war das Restaurant war nicht viele Gaststätten geöffnet.Die freundliche Bedienung hat unsere Bestellung aufgenommen. Wir mussten leider lange auf unser Essen warten, was uns wunderte, da das Restaurant zwar gut besucht, aber nicht voll war. Leider kam das Essen auch nicht gleichzeitig und das Essen von unserem Geburtstagskind wurde komplett vergessen. Als wir die Service Kraft darauf hin wiesen, dass unser Jubilar noch gar kein Essen hat obwohl wir schon mit unserem Essen so gut wie fertig wäre, antwortete sie das sie es nicht vergessen haben. Die Service Leitung aber reagierte auf unser Monieren sofort und brachte schmackhafte Bruschetta als Entschädigung und entschuldigte sich für Ihren Fauxpas. Zwar musste unser Freund noch etwas auf seinen gegrillten Tintenfisch warten, war aber überglücklich als dieser endlich kam und sehr gut schmeckte. Auch unsere Pizza Rucola, die gegrillten Scampis und die Meeresfrüchte-Spaghetti waren sehr schmackhaft gewesen. Beim Bezahlen hat sich die Service Leitung nochmals entschuldigt. Sehr professionell!Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Man hatte den Eindruck als Gast nicht erwünscht zu sein. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, wie wir im Restaurant ankamen und nach dem Tisch fragten bekamen wir eine wage Beschreibung wo sich unser Tisch befindet, somit mussten wir uns unseren Tisch als erstes mal selbst suchen. Nach geraumer Zeit durften wir auch bestellen, wobei die Bedienung nicht ganz bei uns war. Sie versuchte gleichzeitig noch einen anderen Tisch mit Speisekarten zu versorgen während sie unsere Bestellung aufnahm. (Es war nicht viel los) Nicht erwähnen möchte ich die unqualifizierten Anmerkungen von der Servicekraft in Bezug auf unsere Bestellungen. Das essen kam ca 50 min nach Bestellung.Ich hatte ein Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Pommes und Salat bestellt. Das Schnitzel war ok, hätte heiser sein können, die Pommes waren ungenießbar, weil völlig zu Tot frittiert und steinhart, der Salat lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht mit Fertigdressing das nach nichts schmeckte. Die Bedienung darauf angesprochen antwortete sie mit einem beiläufigen Achselzucken. Bei den anderen Gerichten wie Tomate/ Mozarella, Kartoffel Wedges/ Maiskolben konnte man nicht viel falsch machen. Die Einrichtung ist modern aber kalt. Der Garten lieblos, keine Pflege, man kann von der Straße direkt rein schauen ohne geschützt zu sein. Fazit: wir werden das Madagaskar nicht mehr besuchen! Weder der Service noch das Essen überzeugte."

"We dropped in at the Villa Fontana on a Friday night without reservations and were still able to be immediately seated in their cozy dining room. The soft candlelight and uber friendly staff put us at ease as we translated the menu and placed our order. The menu was pretty standard Italian fare at average prices. The Villa Fontana stands out because of the outstanding service and convenient proximity to Askren Manor. We look forward to returning in the Spring and trying the beer garden."
