"After previously experiencing average meals at this restaurant, I decided to give it another try and ordered the fish and chips, mainly because it was convenient and the other nearby Mr. Cod on Farnham Road was always too busy. I noticed that the restaurant had updated their packaging, but I wasn't expecting much from the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the fish and chips arrived - they were fresh, hot, and a generous portion. The taste was perfect and I hope this marks the beginning of a great fish and chip shop in the area. I also hope they will start offering desserts on their menu soon."

"we came on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. first time here as it was recommended. eating was absolutely amazing, but the service was really bad. I have lunch with my mom and sister. that was booked before a week. from the moment we set ourselves, we were rushed to eat and go. the waitress only stared at us and made us uncomfortable. we just wanted to relax and relax. my sister, who is pregnant, burned her back on her coffee when she felt, rushed her up and went. They had a party that came in like that instead of giving us before the hand, or when we arrived there, we were just rushed. the whole experience was ruined. if I knew I would have asked for another time or canceled the booking."

"My friend and I had THE most amazing meal at Humphry’s. I only discovered Stoke Park recently and I’m moving to Berks but it’s worth making repeated trips back for! We had the sublime taster menu with wine pairing, preceded by a wonderful champagne cocktail (me) and beer for my colleague. Canapés to start, 7 courses and a sweet surprise to finish with coffee. A rare but very appreciated treat. Fine dining is meant to be savoured and this is fine dining at its best Wonderful setting, ambience, friendly attentive staff, creative and talented kitchen team and of course Chef Chris Wheeler at the helm. All I can say is don’t waste time, book in, this is a jewel in the culinary crown locally"

"Whole meal was tasteless and not what I would expect from the Hilton. The only good piece was the potato wedge. Steak was anemic and looked like it was cooked at a very low heat. Crab star tasted like a supermarket sandwich filling and melon balls impossible to pick up. Unimpressed."

"Took my husband here for dinner on his birthday on a Wednesday night. For most of the time we were the only customers in the restaurant, which made for a very quiet evening. We shared a scallop starter, which was good but very small for the price. My seabass was well cooked but the accompanying sauce was rather too spicy for my taste. My husband's steak was supposedly an 8oz ribeye but seemed on the small side and not the right shape for this cut. The desserts (chocolate slice and blackberry almond tart) were good. The service was friendly and helpful but overall rather a disappointing experience."

"The kebab burger shop is known for being clean, courteous, and timely. They have a large selection, and I highly recommend trying the chicken burger. They are one of the few places in Britain that knows how to make a delicious hot dog. Some may find the food is packed tightly, but the thick packaging is actually beneficial as it keeps the food warm and prevents it from falling apart. Overall, I highly recommend this place."
