the pinewood hotel is very local after visiting for Sunday dinner in januar we decided it was so good, we had to go back. for £10 it is the best Sunday roast! absolutely beautiful.

Disappointing experience! The service was incredibly slow and they got most of our order wrong, including the wrong bottle of wine. There was a wedding next door, and to drown out the music, they played loud music in the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation. While the food was good, the kids' meals were a complete rip-off—£8.00 for just a few pieces of fish and some chips (and they forgot the peas!). Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider returning.

Another lovely Sunday lunch at the Pinewood! Never fails to deliver, we both chose the Roast Beef lunch on this occasion, which comes served atop roasted root veg, roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pud, with the richest gravy imaginable. Served with a creamed horseradish sauce and English mustard, it really can't be beaten as a real taste of England! We also enjoyed a sweet, which was yummy but could have been a larger portion size! The meal was decent overall. My steak was quite good, while my partner had the black dish, which was just okay—the skin wasn’t very crispy, and the portion was rather small. They also didn’t have the wine we had selected from the menu, and we had to wait a while between courses until they noticed us and served our table. It’s definitely not terrible, so if you’re staying at the hotel, it would be a reasonable place to eat. However, I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to dine here.

Took my husband here for dinner on his birthday on a Wednesday night. For most of the time we were the only customers in the restaurant, which made for a very quiet evening. We shared a scallop starter, which was good but very small for the price. My seabass was well cooked but the accompanying sauce was rather too spicy for my taste. My husband's steak was supposedly an 8oz ribeye but seemed on the small side and not the right shape for this cut. The desserts (chocolate slice and blackberry almond tart) were good. The service was friendly and helpful but overall rather a disappointing experience. Ver carta
