We had a get together of friends in the very cosy private dining room and everyone was united in saying that everything was top notch. The food was outstanding regardless of the course or option selected, the service was attentive without being intrusive and the...ambiance was spot on. Thank you to Dilon and the rest of his team for a truly memorable evening.

We visited for a special celebration, this was catered for from the moment I called to book the table. The man who appeared to be the manager was amazing, he was so accomodating to one of our party having allergies two young children. The...staff were lovely on the ball with everything! The food was amazing we honestly couldnt fault it. Will definitely visit again when in Windsor!! Highly recommend!

I haven’t been here in years so when a friend mentioned the food was good we came back as a group of friends. The food was very good, lovely steak and sides. The only problem is that our waitress was so moody! Eyerolling, huffing and...puffing/ really snappy “pass me your glass etc”. We all noticed it, perhaps not having a good day. I didn’t want to get on the wrong side of her …. service seemed a lot to made to feel a bit uncomfortable. Food was good though: portions not huge Ver carta

This is a fabulous resturant, the steaks are some of the best I've ever had. There is lots of choice for starters and options if you don't like steak but really it is a steak resturant which it does brilliantly ! The service is impeccable...as well. Staff are quick to serve anf knowledgable. A special treat as if you have all courses and a good bottle of wine, its not a cheap option but then going out to eat anyway now is an expensive experience. I'd rather spend good money on good food!

Windsor grill was quite disappointing. It was owned by a famous chef a few years ago, it's currently named in the Michelin Guide and the high prices on the menu would indicate you're in for a treat. I had been looking forward to the visit for a while.Unfortunately, the food, service and environment let this place down. I should stress, it wasn't a bad dining experience just a very average one, almost pub like, but with very high prices! If you're eating out in Windsor there a better and cheaper places to go.

We went to celebrate a get-together with our friends, the menu was detailed and we were interested in trying something new! Upon seeing the steak “au-poivre” we were intrigued, as our lovely waitress Ivana recommended it, we decided to go with it! It’s safe to...say it was one of the most delicious steaks we’ve ever had. My friend had the duck that was decadent and moist. However, the cocktails were the cherry on top, and I had a lovely chat with Ivana in Hungarian which was a warm addition to the already welcoming atmosphere. It was a unique experience, made super by the staff and exquisite chefs made possible by the attention to detail and precision. We’ll definitely be coming back. Ver carta

It was a great welcome from chef patron and the staff. All smiling and cheerful and attentive even as a party arrived for upstairs and another downstairs. But the busy Friday night didn’t mean we were kept waiting at all. I had a peppered steak and I’m still thinking about how delicious it was. Cracked pepper rubbed in and pan fried.served .with steal au poivre sauce. And I had pomme dauphinois with it which was very naughty but so good. My friends had steak and chips.. there are chunky or fries. Don’t forget the starters …blackened prawns were a hit. And bring your eating boots for the desserts. My husband and I went on a Saturday evening for our anniversary. It's a little off the main centre of Windsor and the walk there took in some of the less salubrious sights but you if we had driven we'd never have passed that way!...We pre booked and the restaurant was busy but not uncomfortably so. We had a cocktail on the way at St Leonards and the staff there said don't be late as The Grill us super popular and the best restaurant in town! They were right! We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK .
