"I am truly baffled at how terrible there was, and going there made me lose all trust in Google ratings. To be fair, we did go there on the day they changed their menu. Please reconsider the entire menu. First of all, they serve you a little chef bite that tastes like stale mayo on top of a rice crispy. Literally laughing in your face before serving you the worse meal of your life. The pasta was HORRIBLE. Not bland, not mediocre, not tasteless, it was HORRIBLE. It’s like they threw whatever was about to go bad in the pantry and called it a day. The tagliatelle was so salty and the raviolis had a pumpkin purée inside that was straight out of a can. And they pour a Parmesan broth on top that looks like dirty dishes water. Then the cod had a stringy texture, very hard to cut, like raw chicken. And the beef tasted like turkey sausage. That’s without counting the really silent awkward atmosphere and the waiters who are not paying attention to you at all. This restaurant is a joke. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be a replication of the movie The Menu and straight up laugh at people’s face, but a cute little story about the story of the menu doesn’t compensate for the terrible food and experience. Thank god for the panini place right next door where we went to eat because we were starving. I am sure it was a good restaurant before since we have received so much praise about it, but this new menu is simply a disgrace."

"Incredibly fresh seafood, cheaper prices than at Sorrento proper, outdoor seats fronting the beach, and helpful staff make for an unforgettable experience at this restaurant in the midst of a working fisherman's village. They are always worth the short descent and eventual climb back to Sorrento. For appetizers, their sauteed mussels were prepared well and simply, beards removed and still sweet as they were unbelievably fresh. Portions were very generous. They served nearly an entire loaf of bread, fresher than most restaurants, which went well with the buttery sauce at the bottom of the plate. Their grilled mixed seafood was delicious, each piece cooked to perfection. The prawn was soft and sweet, the calamari charred wonderfully, and the fish cooked well. Their spaghetti with mixed seafood was just as wonderful, the pasta firm and the sauces from all the seafood (octopus, shrimp, mussels and clam) pooling in the bottom. Don't forget to mix in the cherry tomatoes hanging around separately! Service was friendly and quick. Sitting outside can be a bit cramped but it does give a good view of the sea. I can imagine this place would be great for watching sunsets as well. We can't wait to come back and try the other menu items! We highly recommend this place to anyone staying or visiting Sorrento and who won't mind a short walk to incredibly well-cooked, freshly caught seafood!"
