"We regret to say that our most recent visit to this restaurant will also be our last. We do not wish to lay blame on the new owners, but we believe they need to address some issues. We have dined here several times before and always enjoyed it, but our last experience was unfortunately disappointing. Despite making a reservation, we were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived (party of 6). After ordering, another couple came in, ordered, received their food, ate, and left, while we were still waiting. Our food finally arrived 50 minutes later and it was also underwhelming. The soup seemed to be diluted and other dishes were not up to standard. We are truly disappointed that we will not be returning."

"Wow...what a wonderful experience. This is a country pub with style and grace. I've been meaning to try this place for a long time but never found the opportunity. I visited on a January Saturday for early dinner with my elderly father. I'd booked online and in the comments asked if they could put us somewhere warm for my father and that we were heading back from panto a good 30 mins away and could possibly be 5-10 mins late. We were greeted with a fabulous welcome, seated next to a roaring fire and politely asked how the panto was. I really appreciated the attention to detail. We were promptly provided with menus after we'd sat down and got settled and our drinks order was taken. Food order was taken a short while after. At no point was I left wondering as to how that would happen. The food was delicious. Couldn't fault it. Reasonably priced for excellence. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening to our day."

"We decided to go for lunch hear as we have never been. The ladies who work there were lovely. We ordered our food and it was beautiful. My husband and I both had the soup which was lovely and we both had sandwiches which were also very nice. We were full but couldn't resist the cakes so we shared one! Would highly recommend."

"Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant...a bit of a hidden gem to be honest. We went for a early Friday night dinner with the kids. Lovely fresh calamari and a steak with beautiful gorgonzola sauce for me, we also had a beautiful lasagne and the kids had delicious looking fresh cooked pizza. I m sure the gelato and tiramisu was lovely too, I just couldn't fit it in. the service was great too...very busy for take away too, although not disruptive."

"the first time at this lovely, beautiful restaurant with a good atmosphere. personal, where friendly and helpful and the service was in the regular good, although we are sitting on an unprepared table first. eating was very good, my only criticism would have been the salat garnish could have done with some dressing, but maybe I am a bit picky. overall a very good experience. will definitely return."

"that used to be our way to take. eating was delicious and always hot. it was a bit more expensive than some, but for quality they pay more. then everything started to be red. everything was bright red..even dishes that they should not think were red. then they made the greatest mistake possible. although categorically not being said that any coriander contained in my court, they ignored it not only, but seemed to insert more than usual. it is not a medical thing (fortunately) I hate only coriander and it ruins every dish it is in or on. if they can't follow simple instructions, why do you bother a commentary section when you order? I need my Saturday evening farewell contract to be a pleasant experience, so that coriander in my teller ruins it. yes, it's a very small thing I can look forward to, but it's important for me. we are now looking for a new takeaway that has different color food and can follow the most important instructions."

"they were my sisters, birthday meal. it was absolutely amazing, I had bought a cake for my sister and forgot the candles, the personal delivered them for me and bought the cake illuminated with them, singing happy birthday! the meals were absolutely delicious and will definitely be rebooked! we have been as a family already in this restaurant and it was always amazing! many thanks to salvatores to soon"

"Wow! I do not impress easily and have eaten all the world but Bread and Butter is in my top three places ever and I am in my 60's! Three of us went yesterday. I had the lamb burger which was PERFECTION and both the...people with me had lovely food. One had the mushroom and quinoa burger and the other the chicken burger I had the Cajun chips which, again, were brilliant. We had a bottle of the Rose and, even though I usually dislike French wine, this was ace. Charlotte and Denise who served us were absolute gems and so kind. The sweets at 3 for £5 were wow. I had the coffee Renoir and could not fault it. . Well done to Ryan for opening this. If B and B was in London I would be here EVERY WEEK. Faultless and amazing. Ritz, a little place in Manila and this is a close 3RD. Loved it and I will be back. You utter stars. This GEM deserves to do well"

"Reccommended to try here by a neighbour and certainly didn 't dissapoint. Pad Thai chicken noodles at heat level 7 perfect, enough bite without spoiling the taste and prawn green Thai curry with Jasmine rice was a delight. On the spur of the moment I ordered spring rolls,they were lovely and crisp without being overcooked or greasy and the chilli sauce one of the nicest we 've tasted. We couldn 't eat all the Pad Thai so just had it cold for lunch and still tastes yummy. It was really busy but kept updated on how long my order would be. All served with humour and a smile, the place is really clean, no horrid 'chippy ' smell, and great value for money. We will be going back"

"I had a roast dinner at The Withy Arms tonight and the lamb was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. There was plenty of gravy along with a jug for extra. Even the vegetables were delicious. I made sure to save room for the sticky toffee pudding, which was absolutely delicious. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The atmosphere was lovely and they had great music playing."

"lunch here yesterday, no great experience. there were 3 of us and it took 2 hours from beginning to end. the drinks arrived quickly, but the meals were a completely different time scale! the restaurant was not busy at all, I had telephoned in front of the hand to check chips were overcooked with many tiny, which I was disappointed even served. the rest of our main course was okay, but we had to wait half an hour until our dirty teller cleaned and dessert order. that was only after I asked twice. desserts were not complicated, but lasted another half an hour to arrive, then one of them was not what had been ordered. at this time, we would have eaten everything she would have accepted. the excuse that the personal had offered was that they had a big lunch party in (about 12 people), but that should not affect the rest of the diner. no happy experience we will not repeat!"

"I ordered a tuna sandwich with chips £11.49 (not a typo the sandwich on its own is £8.99). I specifically asked about the type of bread as I didn’t want a small sandwich. My daughter ordered an expensive chip butty, my wife soup and a sandwich. When the food came my wife and daughter had sensible sized sandwiches which looked great. HOWEVER when mine came I thought i had been given a child’s sandwich by mistake. At £11.49 I expect to have an adults sized portion size. I sent it back and picked up a subway sandwich on the way home. If you’re charging big prices do the right thing and send out proper portion sizes."

"This place might look good on the outside, all bright lights and signage. But inside was vile. Customer service was terrible before the food was even served. Food was over priced and luke warm. I was the only person in on what should be a busy Friday evening. That should have warned me about the place but i thought I'd give it a try. How wrong was I . Thank god they are moving to an area that suits them better ! Even then I don't think students on church street will get drunk enough to eat this **** !"

"Fortunately I had not read any reviews before ordering food from Puccini Pizza as it’s clearly not reliable with 1 and 5 star reviews only a short time apart. I found the food to be excellent with well topped and cooked pizzas and garlic bread, a very generous portion of chips and really good garlic mushrooms. If it was always like this I’d be surprised to see anything less than very good ratings. We didn’t use the delivery due to time so I cannot comment on this. However going to the premises I was happy to see it looked very clean, around the kitchen, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Generally very well priced too. I’d go again but I hope the standard remains the same."

"I was looking for a place to have lunch before heading to Team Sport karting. There were many options to choose from, but I didn't want fast food. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, with some pleasant conversation from Pam. There were 8 of us, including 4 kids, and we all ordered different dishes. Everything we received was excellent - the chips, Chicken Wings, Scampi, Chicken Stroganoff, and a huge BBQ chicken sizzling plate. While eating out has become more expensive, the quality of the food at this restaurant made it worth it. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to others. Keep up the good work, you deserve all the credit."

"On Saturday night we decided we were going to have a Chinese takeaway. We went to our usual place which due to the coronavirus epidemic was closed. We drove around looking for one that was ope and came across the Leyland Chop Suey House. We were served straight away even though the staff were unbelievably busy. we waited about 20 minutes for our food to be cooked. we ordered 2 different dishes, 2 lots of special fried rice and duck spring rolls. I had the Szechuan style King Prawn in hot bean sauce. Prawns were plentiful and the sauce quite spicy, my wife had chicken chop suey. We both enjoyed in enormously and have now made it our favourite Chinese takeaway ! There was too much food for one meal, in fact unless you have a massive appetite, one meal would do for two people. We didn't mange to finish one of the two special fried rice dishes.We will have the rest another time. Parking is plentiful outside along Golden Hill Lane. Can wait to go again."
