We had our daughters 7th birthday here today! 10 children for a pizza making party. It was such a success and couldn’t have been better. We have been a few times recently. We have the Traditional carvery which we always enjoy. the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, especially the gammon. TOday pork was available which was great. Also, onions in gravy! Please could we have onion gravy as well as gravy? I would recommend a visit. Parking: Plenty of spaces and disabled bays Food: 5

Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience! I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday for the carvery. Like other reviewers, my initial impression was that everything looked quite run-down. The atmosphere felt dirty and the staff, aside from one friendly colleague who greeted and seated us, seemed unhappy and unfriendly. The food was disappointing as well. The beef was tough, the stuffing was dry and almost inedible, the few vegetables on offer were barely warm. The gravy was watery and unappetizing. I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this place to others, I'm sorry!

We have visited the Farmers Arms many times over the past few years party of 4) and the standards are getting worse on a weekly basis. The condition of the restaurant both externally and internally is very poor and the men's toilets not seen the ladies) is disgusting with constant leaks in various areas including cubicles and generally very very tatty. The food quality is not good and at peak times they keep running out of food in the self service area. The staff are generally friendly but there doesn't seem enough of them to ensure customers get a good service. The company has let the property fall into disrepair which is such a shame as it is in a nice area. If it doesn't address these pro... Ver carta
