"I saw on Google for Sunday roasts near me, the Magpie Combs Ford came up, we went in pub got a nice greeting from owner/staff and some locals, nice selection of beers, ales, apple wine on tap, frying come in small, medium and large, a local jokes have the big, then you don't have to eat til Tuesday. We have made ourselves for medium-sized, generous amount of meat with the choice of beef, pork meat, gammon between us all had 3, they were delicious and tender, then you have roasted pipes, roasted potatoes, filling, then you have about 10 vegs to choose from, the cauliflower/Brokoli cheese the sauce was so good, all the vegs cooked only perfect, then socen The Desserts list is also great, we had Belgium waffle and Marmelade Poly view photos, the Custard was so creamy. We have booked in advance, would definitely recommend this. Thank you to the Magpie, my only regret is that I am not a local because this is definitely my local pub if I did.
