"reserved for an interior and got a high table. drinks were only served after repeated asking. ordered salat to the main dish was forgotten. steak was ordered medium wheel and was served well-done. After we have troubled this, the waitress said that she would report it and did not report her work first. After we had troubled it with two more waiters, a new steak was brought to us. the use was left to stand, although it was already ordered after table. nothing was taken even in the preservation of the aftertic. the ambiente was great that eating throughout was ok and the service is improveable."

"Wir waren mit der Familie dort. Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich (mehrsprachig deutsch/englisch/französisch zur Info). Wir hatten alle unterschiedliche Burger die wirklich sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet waren. Besonders die Ponmes waren richtig knackig und lecker. Es gibt für kleine Kinder im hinteren Bereich eine tolle Spielecke wo auch ein Esstisch für die Eltern steht. Ich kann einen Besuch wirklich empfehlen"

"Después de pasar una mañana caminando millas alrededor de los diversos sitios romanos en Trier, necesitaba desesperadamente algo de comer y un vaso de cerveza. Como era Carnaval, muchos lugares estaban llenos, pero esta pequeña joya aún tenía algo de espacio. El servicio fue rápido ... y amable, y no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que llegara un plato de aceitunas negras y un cuenco de pan, lo cual fue muy bienvenido, sobre todo porque no me lo esperaba. Mi comida de atún penne fue extremadamente sabrosa y fue una porción muy generosa. Estaba muy contento de haber tropezado con este restaurante y sin duda lo recomendaría. Buen valor también"

"Wir haben bisher den Eurener Hof genutzt, um besondere Anlässe zu feiern. So auch gestern Abend. Der ganze Abend war aber ein Desaster: die Vorspeise meiner Frau kam mind 10 Minuten nach meiner, mein Hauptgericht sollten gebratene Rinderfiletstreifen auf Bandnudeln sein, es war eher ein nicht gebratenes Gulasch/Rindergeschnetzeltes auf Bandnudeln auf einem tiefen Teller, das sehr an ein Kantinengericht erinnerte (auch die dabei üblichen Brokkolirösschen haben nicht gefehlt). Die grüne pfefferrahmsauce beim Gericht meiner Frau war eine pampige Rahmsauce, die neben dem lieblos auf einem weißen Teller angerichteten Salat (ob hier die Môhren u Krautsalat frisch waren) eher Kantinenflair hatte. Der Kellner war sehr nett, hat aber außer vielen Entschuldigungen nichts präsentiert. Wir haben viel Geld für das in keinster Weise entsprechende Essen bezahlt. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und werden nicht mehr hingehen!"

"The last place I visited before leaving Trier. Got a little hungry and had sometime before the train arrive so I popped into this place. Wonderful little cafe near the train station. Very little space but the service and food will have you coming back. I walked in and some university students were having a debate. I take a seat in the corner and do a little ease dropping. It's nice to watch motivated youth organizing themselves in something positive. I scan over the small menu and decide I needed some warm soup on this very cold night. My company decides on an non alcoholic drink. The thought of leaving kept me from my meal for much of the time. The place is so inviting with the dark wood, comfy environment, and nice music. There's also a patio area, but I avoided that because of all the noise and large amount of smokers. Plus it was cold and the Florida in me couldn't take it. We just sip our drinks and take in the place while I try not to think about leaving the area. But this is the type of place you'd want to come back too. So, genug gejammert. Die leckere Suppe sweet potatoes! (Soup is awesome! Nice and creamy. Seasoned by not spicy. And trinkt dazu unbedingt einen Chai Latte and be thankful for the strong wifi connection. Wifi seems to be a luxury when in the area. This place is suppose to have a great breakfast but I was never here before the sun went down. Bathrooms were covered in graffiti as I'm come to know in some of the more popular areas. Lots of posting about events in the area if you are looking for something to get into but Klasse Service!"

"Very small, but very fine: super friendly, everything was explained to us with patience. Again and again, we were asked if we were asking and if everything was okay. Ambience is great! Unfortunately, it is a little hidden we have a little used to find it. Second row quasi. The only minus point I forgive is the portion size. So I personally found them very small. Tastefully good. My personal highlight was the cake! Rarely eaten a delicious cake as dessert. All in all highly recommended!!!"

"Very disappointing. The only positive things were the short delivery time and the very friendly driver. Maybe today was just a bad day but if that's the standard, I can't understand the many very good reviews. Nothing had taste. Neither the chicken strips nor the burgers tasted like anything. In my opinion there wasn't an ounce of spices in it. I even dismantled the burger into its individual parts to try each component individually but it remained the same: watery and tasteless. It's actually a phenomenon that you really can't taste anything with such a huge thing with lots of toppings."

"Meine Frau und ich gehen so 2-3 mal im Monat zum Frankenturm. Quasi Stammgäste. Hier gibt es gutes Essen und als Krönung zum Schluss immer eine Grappa aufs Haus.Vor 3 Wochen nicht mehr. Beim Personal gab es Wechsel. Nicht schlimm, vielleicht vergessen.Gestern war ich ohne meine Frau dort. Beim Bezahlen merkte ich, dass wieder jeder Gast gefragt wurde wegen der Grappa.........ausser mir. Ich wurde sogar ignoriert, was daran zu erkennen war, dass der Kellner immer den anderen Durchgang benutzte.Tut mir leid, das wars dann. Kunde 2. Klasse kann ich überall werden."

"Keine klare Linie bei der Einrichtung, teilweise übernommen vom vorher dort ansässigen American Diner. Ansonsten ein misslungener Spagat aus gehobenerem Ikea-Stil mit japanischen Akzenten. Da habe ich in manchen Fast Food Ketten schon besseres Ambiente erlebt.Der Service bestand daraus, dass man uns nach etwa 10 Minuten Wartezeit einen Kellnerblock an den Tisch brachte, weil von den Tablets für die Bestellungen gerade nur eins funktionierte. Nach einer sehr saloppen Erklärung in einer Mischung aus gebrochenem Deutsch und Englisch nahmen wir also unsere Bestellung selbst auf.Etwa 30 Minuten später wurde uns dann das Essen serviert. Davon entsprach die Miso-Suppe am ehesten meinem Geschmack, vermutlich weil es daran auch eigentlich nichts falsch zu machen gibt. Das Kimchi war sehr süß geraten und das "Liebhaber" Sushi-Set eindeutig von ungeübten Händen oder einer Presse geformt. Dazu gehörten auch noch einige sehr dick und unregelmäßig geschnittene Scheiben Sake Sashimi. Mit Abstand das schlechteste Gericht war dann das Maguri Tataki. Es roch äußerst unangenehm und ich konnte erst nicht feststellen, ob es vielleicht am Rettich oder der Mayonnaise lag. Der Thunfisch war definitiv nicht erst mal im Kühlhaus gereift, sondern war frisch aufgetaut und bei viel zu niedriger Temperatur auf dem Grill gelandet. Dazu noch viel zu kurz angebraten ergab sich ein sehr unangenehmes Mundgefühl mit lauwarmer "Kruste" und kaltem, nicht ganz aufgetautem Thunfisch.Fazit: Trier hat die nächste Falle für Touristen und die umliegende Dorfbevölkerung. Im Okiko funktioniert einfach gar nichts. Das Ausfallen der Technik wäre wirklich kein Problem gewesen, der Umgang der Belegschaft bei einem nicht mal zu einem Viertel gefüllten Lokal war hingegen absolut respektlos. Die Servicekraft schien es für selbstverständlich zu halten, dass man seine Bestellung selbst aufnimmt. Das Essen war selbst für den durchaus niedrigen Preis inakzeptabel. BITTE MEIDEN!"

"On a business trip with a colleague, we chose Pellolitto but did not make reservation. All reservations were for outside tables so we sat inside, which was nice. Ordered the Calimar and it was very good. We both had pizzas (mine vegan) and they were decent. Good wines with mostly Spanish appellation. The biggest negative was what we took as a bit of American animus. With the Spanish wines and the Spanish music playing we were a little bemused as we thought it was an Italian restaurant. My colleague inquired about what type of restaurant did they consider their place and it was met with "mediterranean." My colleague pointed to the Spanish music and she respond that it was Cuban. He said okay "Spanish?" Then she retorted, "You are American, no?" which came across as insulting. Yes, these dumb Americans actually know traditional Cuban music is heavily influenced by African and Spanish music. In fact the Cuban music being played (Buena Vista Social Club) falls into the genre of Guajira which was derived from Punta Cubano popular in Spain in the 18th/19th century. The Spanish Tre guitar is also prevalent on this album. But what do we know.Otherwise, a decent place for a meal."

"Hier stimmt nichts - bis auf die freundliche Bedienung! Das Essen war mehr als enttäuschend! Zur (lieblos angerichteten und geschmacklich eher ernüchternden) Grillplatte für 2 Personen gab es nur 2 Klecks Tzatziki, so dass wir für ca. 5€ extra noch Tzatziki dazu ordern mussten. Das Tzatziki schmeckte schrecklich (sehr verdickt, nicht frisch zubereitet und offenbar nicht selbst hergestellt), so dass wir dieses nur zu 1/4 aßen. Auch mussten wir zu der Grillplatte noch extra Pommes ordern, da die gereichte Portion für 2 Personen nicht ausreichte. Die Grillplatte kostet 39,90€ und ist ihren Preis leider absolut NICHT wert! Zudem hatten wir für unsere große Tochter noch einen Grillteller geordert, welcher auch SEHR lieblos angerichtet war (Rindersteaks neben Pommes mit Kraeuterbutter) - für 19,95€ und der seinen Preis auch definitiv NICHT wert war. Die Vorspeise-Salate waren welk, mit einer nicht selbst hergestellten Salatsauce und einem Krautsalat aus der Dose. Zudem wirklich lieblos angerichtet. NICHT GUT! Wir haben fast 100€ bezahlt und haben uns sehr geärgert, dort SO ETWAS trotz der guten Kritiken erleben zu müssen. Es gab nicht mal einen Ouzo am Ende des Essens! Mein Mann ist halber Grieche und wir haben in unserer Heimatstadt Hamburg viele griechische Gastronomen im Bekannten- und Freundeskreis und denken, dass wir hier sehr gute und fundierte Kritiker sind! Wir sagen zum Restaurant HERMES in Trier: OXI! (Nein!)"

"We have been here for dinner, attracted by the nice position on the river. Overall a very unpleasant experience. When we arrived, although there is a sign outside the restaurant stating that clients should wait for a waiter to give them a table, we got...instructed by the waiter to just get a table yourself on the terrace The problem is that the tables had not been cleaned up after the previous costumers left (there were still glasses and tissues around, together with crumbs and food rests on the table). This did not change through the evening, in the sense that also the other tables were not disinfected between one group of clients and the other, unless after solicitation by clients themselves. This is unacceptable, given the times we are living in and the anti-corona regulations. On top of that, some waiters were not wearing masks, or they were wearing them at their neck, which is obviously not helping covering the mouth and nose.. Anyway, after waiting for half an hour to be served, we finally managed to order. Our pizzas were not at all good, the base in particular was most likely frozen and the tomato sauce was very acidic. As we have been ignored by the waiters for another half an hour after we finished eating, we had to get inside the restaurant in order to pay. Needless to say, the dinner was insanely expensive. I really do not recommend this restaurant at all, I cannot see how it has such high ranking here.."

"Das Casa verde ist ein Ort voller Wärme. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Terrasse und einen geräumigen Innenbereich. Gemalte Bilder schmücken die Wände und der bunte Boden verleiht dem Raum etwas besonderes. Das Brot ist köstlich. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der Beilagensalat und die Tomatenbruchetta.Freundliche Bedienungen und Speisen zu moderaten Preisen. "we went through this restaurant, during a city walk (as a result of the look karl marx house, which is about 40 meters away). as we both love Asian eating, we decided to try. When we came to the restaurant, it doesn't look. so big. the waiter/owner kindly asked in English whether we want to drink or eat and invited us to sit down where we liked (inside or out) where he would serve us. because the weather was good, we decided to sit outside and shortly afterwards the waiter came to take us the menu car and asked what we like to drink. the menu car offers many possibilities. we started with a wan-tan suppe and a vegetarian spring roll that both tasted. as if we had the sweet acidic bark and noodle with huh. the plate was quite filled and my wife didn't eat it because of the size. the sweet sour meat was delicious! the toilets are upstairs (just like the kitchen) and tidy/clean. the payment by pin/card was not possible. we would eat here again!"

"Pub type location with a wide variety of food items. They offer multiple language menus and all spoke English very well. The kids ordered sausage and I had the pork schnitzel. I did not have any sauce on it since I wanted to try the authentic flavor of the pork. It was very juicy and cooked well and had lots of flavor. Lots of beer choices to select from and the servers helped to navigate our selections. Great place to have good food, a drink ,and be able to enjoy conversation with your group."
