"Having loved Ouillette for over 20 years, I couldn 't wait to finally discover version 2.0 of what I considered one of the best places in Val d 'Isere. Obviously the site is always incredibly beautiful, lunch on the terrace in front of this snow-covered lake is simply extraordinary! But what a disappointment for the rest... The snack: a joke! An endless wait in front of this small counter where only one waitress tries to do as best she can. Result 35 minutes of waiting for a poor quality sandwich (very little choice) and a hot dog worthy of the worst moments of catering at the top of the slopes in the 80s... Once served, the second challenge is to find a clean table . Mission impossible, everyone is covered in a pile of cans, papers and rubbish from previous customers and no one to clear it, it 's us who clear a piece of the table so we can sit there... At the end of the meal , given the queue at the outside counter, I try the inside bar to get two coffees... a young woman visibly overwhelmed by all the orders from her colleagues doesn 't even count me and when after about ten minutes waiting, I dare to ask her for two coffees, she explains to me that we will have to wait again because her colleagues ' orders come first. We went to drink coffee at the Datcha. Summary: Very bad experience!! Unable to bring myself to have to abandon Ouillette, I found extenuating circumstances and decided to try the adventure again by trying the restaurant. Same observation, pretentious welcome, deplorable service, long wait and despite good quality dishes, the results remain very negative. It is essential that the whole team gets back together and does what it has been doing for so many years, quality, simplicity, smiles in a dream setting. Obviously I will come back next year and I’m crossing my fingers to find the soul of Brigitte’s Ouillette."

"val d'Isère/Tignes generally has a range of altitude restaurants that are more than suitable for a ski lunch, often of quality and pleasant frames. So it's without too much thinking that I chose the nice snack. the decor is below the others already, but it's not very serious. On the other hand, it's clear that when we get to the self, we realize we're not going to enjoy ourselves. the whole food (because it's good food we're talking) looks defused while at the rate level, we're happy. I thought I'd limit the risks by taking 2 diots and fries - hard to miss. Let's count on only one sausage and a half that looks more like a chipo than a diot, and fries half cold. not to mention the mustard and the ketchup paid. I gently point out to the cashier that on the station, they are the only ones to charge these small sauces (in tiny cuteettes on the way, never seen so small, even in free service.) what they answer with English accent that "in angleterre, it's everywhere like that." ah ok, already if I'm not mistaken, we're still in france, but let's not go, I answer that I don't complain, but I find it a little bit pingrey anyway (while leaving the currency.) answer: "if you don't have the money to go to the restaurant, you don't have to come." super, thank you for the welcome. You've got it all. So, bitter taste for a holiday lunch. To finish, waitress at the unpleasant bar, not hello, not thank you. short, to flee obviously, no need to go far to find much better!"
