"This place was very good. Our waiter recommended the Turbot fish that comes straight from the Basque port. It’s a whole fish but they deboned it for us at the table. It was sautéed in olive oil and delicious. We paired that with a light salad and their house made sourdough bread and it was the perfect Spanish lunch. We ate outside in the Plaza del Angel, which was beautiful and great people watching...that is until another customer sat next to us and started smoking. : We just moved inside for dessert and espresso. Had the “Goxua” traditional basque dessert and it was very good. Recommend this place for a nice lunch. Sit outside if you can. Just be prepared that in Madrid customers are ONLY allowed to smoke OUTSIDE."
