"Went for afternoon tea. While the location is lovely, the overall experience was disappointing. The sandwiches were bland, the bread dried out and obviously not freshly made. The place was empty so obviously not busy but the service was patchy at best. I requested herbal tea (camomile) and the server struggled with this request and the pronunciation. She also didn't come back once to check on us and see if we needed anything else. We were seated in a bar and had to endure the TV blaring the whole time, which wasn't conducive to a relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I could really commend was the toilets, which were spotless and beautifully designed. Hugely disappointed as this was a birthday treat from my friend. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back."

Had a meal here last night. Lovely place with plenty of on street parking. Food was amazing. Staff are really friendly. Will definitely go again when we return to Glasgow.

Just back from afternoon tea and I've tried several and have to say this was one of the best. Lovely, fresh savoury selection and they had made some for pescatarian (me). The wee cakes and scone were delicious too. We have looked at lunch and dinner menu and with that standard would def be back.

Amazing hotel! Booked for one night, the staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to be helpful. My room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed. Bed incredibly comfortable, great nights sleep. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and again wonderful staff taking care of everything! Just brilliant- highly recommended.

We went to a concert across the street in Queens Park Recreation Area. It was going to run until late at night so we looked for something close and this was the closest. So happy we were able to get in. The service was top notch, the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was perfect as well. We got the full Scottish breakfast and they had a buffett with fresh fruit, croissants and yogurt. Great stay :

Oh dear. The day before arrival we were told the restaurant would be closed and the bar. No breakfast either. The sparsely furnished room was a bleak beige colour, freezing cold and smelt damp. Given we provided an arrival time it was thoughtless not to pre heat the room. Bathroom is dated with black mould around the windows. The positive revues for this place seem highly suspect. In short it was a dump and we will not be returning.

Stayed here for two night. Room was very small which I was pre warned about when booking. In hindsight was probably overcharged considering how small it actually was however that was compensated by how helpful and friendly the staff are. The hotel is incredibly clean and luxuriously furnished. Bed could however be a little softer. I didn’t get the chance to use the restaurant however judging by the rest of my experience it would have been spot on. I do query the 4 star rating though. All in all a great experience and would definitely book this hotel again and will certainly recommend to friends.
