very interesting eating with many different ingredients. meat and fish were well prepared. sorbet dessert was extremely good.

We stayed at a weekend getaway in Bergen op Zoom and stayed at Hotel Draak. The restaurant looked very welcoming as we decided to make a reservation for the following evening. We started with drinks in the lounge where we also placed our order. When the starter was finished, we were taken to our table. We had ordered the menu and the accompanying wine arrangement. Each course was presented beautifully, tasted great, and the wine was perfect. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions competently. A very pleasant evening and highly recommended. We were on a weekend break in Bergen op Zoom and staying in the Hotel Draak. The restaurant looked very welcoming as we checked in so we decided to make a reservation for the following evening. We started with drinks in the lounge where we also placed our order. When the starter was ready we were brought to our table. We had ordered the menu and accompanying wine arrangement. Each course was beautifully presented,tasted great, and the wine was perfectly suited. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions knowledgeably. A very enjoyable evening and highly recommended.

On the bill: 78 euros for 4 cups of coffee and 4 glasses of water!! And the theater menu was not ready on time! (A nice theater menu with a suitable wine arrangement. A good 1.5 hours to eat. Add 1 glass of water each. And we asked if 7.40 pm or a coffee was still possible. That could have been said!! After 7.50 pm (10 minutes before the performance suddenly all the friandises and a Crème Brule arrived without a spoon. Which we had not ordered and could no longer finish. “It was said to add one more time.” In 5 minutes we received so we don't have that anymore!! The stay at the hotel was great but the restaurant was very disappointing The main problem came from the position of the table : it was the worst one, at the deep end of the room. If the restaurant was full, I would have of course understood and would 'nt complain, it 's just bad luck. But in our case, the first service was finished, so another nice table was free, but the manager refuses to just prepare this table. It was against restaurant policy , just to clean a table and prepare for the next guest. It was very frustrating to stay on the worst table of the restaurant with a view on a dirty wall while the view on the dining room could have been very nice. Apart from that, the dinner was n...
