"After so many years away, we decided to revisit this gorgeous place for my mum's birthday. I will say this is a delayed post, as they had the Christmas menu on. The food was great, however the service really lacked at first. A lot of the staff were very young and unattentive and sat us alone upstairs, so we did have to keep asking every so often where the food and drinks were. I will say that did change as the evening went on, and we ended up having a great waitress! Around £40pp Overall a great place to eat no doubt, but the service has really changed from super great to average in my eyes. Not a place I would rush back to."

Went with a friend on the spare of the moment. Service was brilliant waitress was very friendly and polite and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back with the husband next time. Keep up the great work guys.

service was excellent, server when needed and always with cheerful faces. large selection of drinks that came fast. beautiful building, with large ambiente. the medium-sized steak was perfectly cooked, but the whole food was very average for the price. a real scandal when you consider how great everything else was!

We had a brilliant night out celebrating a 60th Birthday party last night. Attentive and friendly service from all the staff. Even though we were such a large party all the steaks were cooked to perfection! Food was hot, lashings of extra gravy, mayonnaise, tomatoe sauce etc was no problem. Good food, great service! Had a business dinner at 1573 Bar Grill because my friend recommended it not because of steaks as I am vegetarian, but because of the variety of food they have. Was not disappointed, they have some decent vegetarian options and really good quality salmon. Really nice building with lots of history and really nice atmosphere. Service was excellent! Staff friendly and professional! I'm coming back! Highly recommended the salmon!
