"We love going to Wotton House and had been wanting to try 1877 Restaurant for a while. The service was great, very friendly staff and very helpful but unfortunately was disappointed with the food. I personally don't think the prices justify the quality of the food. The decor is just not in keeping with such a beautiful and historic building and the overall seating arrangements a decor let that building down. Food is more aligned to what you would expect at a pub."

I would advise to do something with the lighting. The white light against the ceiling is really horrible and spoils the total of the ambiance Ver carta

Great food and beautiful place. Just not attentive staff at all had to go and try and find someone multiple times. Wouldn’t stop me going back though as it was great overall.

Atmosphere was lovely and the place itself beautiful. Came here for an afternoon tea and would highly recommend it. Staff and very alert and helpful. All the food was lovely. Would come again.
