1901 at Andaz - Carta

This is a great setting in a good location, but it feels like a hotel restaurant (which it is) and it is no surprise that it was empty. I was entertaining a customer too, disappointing.

We waited at over half an hour to be served and to receive drinks, despite telling staff we were there. The waitress was lovely, despite being extremely slow. Food and drink were good once they arrived!

Considering I had no idea this place existed just on the side of the stated is was really nice and quiet, big thumbs up from me. I had a morning meeting for coffee, but definitely going to take my wife for a glass of wine.

quite pleasant afternoon tea. we had the wowcher deal that was so good. only one tip, check the finger sandwich fillings before, as they were both only different types of cheese. would have preferred something else, and not good if they were not eating. therefore my cause for 4 stars.

Had a reservation at 8:30pm which was confirmed for Friday. Once arrived at the venue, the bar was not opened. The restaurant which it was attached to said that they closed at 8pm every day. If that’s the case why is it possible to make reservations for after this time? Luckily we didn’t come from far but if someone had travelled for this reservation this would be ridiculous. Ver carta

We received a warm welcome at the restaurant and were promptly seated at a nice table with water. However, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we had to actively seek out waitstaff to take our orders. The food was well-prepared, although my risotto was a bit too thick for my liking. I found the prices to be on the higher end for a meal that was just average. Overall, the Brasserie is a welcoming spot and conveniently located near Liverpool Station, but the loud music was a drawback for us. We may not choose to dine there again.

My son and I visited this restaurant on Christmas day. The set menu included three courses and a glass of wine or champagne. Knowing we couldn't eat that much, we decided to skip the starter. Our waiter kindly spoke with the manager, who offered us an extra glass of wine instead. This exceeded our expectations. I ordered the turkey, which was perfectly portioned, tender, and delicious. My son got the steak and claimed it was the best he had ever eaten. The dessert was also excellent. The service was exceptional, and all the staff were very friendly. It was a great find for Christmas day. Congratulations to the team at this restaurant. Ver carta
