"È il caso ad avermi fatto conoscere questo ristorante: altri locali della zona (Gravellona Toce) erano chiusi per ferie! Il locale dall'esterno è un po' dimesso mentre l'interno è caldo ed accogliente. Proprio perché non era una visita preventivata, ma un semplice pranzo di lavoro, non ho avuto modo di osservare gli angoli più bui della struttura, ma il poco che ho visto è stato sufficiente per premiare con le 5 stelle questo opificio della gastronomia. Se si considera che la mia valutazione è basata su un menù di mezzogiorno a prezzo fisso, vi lascio pensare (ed anch'io lo faccio) cosa mai potrà offrire in una cena con un menù alla carta! Lo chef è molto alla mano e vi mette subito a vostro agio; per questo motivo ho lasciato fare a lui le scelte sul menù, in vero molto ridotto: un' entrée/primo piatto a base di prosciutto della foresta nera ed un primo/secondo a base di legumi: i piatti infatti non sono ben definiti ed ancora adesso non so cosa io abbia mangiato, ma i miei sensi hanno gradito oltre ogni aspettativa. Se aggiungiamo un calice di un ottimo Nero d'Avola, una bottiglia di acqua minerale ed un caffè, 15 euro per un tavolo preparato con sottopiatti e bicchieri da degustazione in aggiunta a quelli per l'acqua, beh sono davvero pochi! Se non fosse che Gravellona non è una località in cui io mi reco abitualmente, la visita al Barabba per cena sarebbe d'obbligo. A voi comunque dico che questo locale non è solo da provare, ma da conoscere sino in fondo..."

"fresh prosecco hyenas to fragrant fried dumpling and smoking as an aperitif: our great start! the dehor is heated by lamps and fires, which make it pleasant even when out there are degrees. to dine however we enter inside, where the environment is essential, but cozy and good goto. they make us sit at the table (we had booked, which I recommend, especially on Saturday evening.) digital menu, but also paper, very varied and rich: impossible not to find something of own pleasure. meanwhile they complete put en place for dinner: attentive and caring service (they help us with the qrcode, before proposing an ancient paper version we choose the cut of phenol and a hamburger and still glasses of prosecco. the wine arrives in a moment, the dishes after the time necessary for the preparation. My burger is beautiful: There's no off-site ingredient and while I eat it, it doesn't break out. I can get all the flavors without that the frani construction miseramente also the bread is hot and crisp out, soft without being gummed inside; sauce is in the right amount. potatoes are fried, but not sticky: they still have the peel and are small and are made in thin slices. the service is completed by several sachets of mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard, as well as the classic dressings (ported for the abundant rocket that accompanies the cut of phenol, which I did not taste, but that I saw cut like butter, without leaving blood everywhere. ) after all this well god, there is no room for dessert. we end with creamy coffee and gin lemon, prepared with art with lightning and bio lemonade! top!"

"We visited Pomodoro with friends cause we wanted to try famous Italian pizza and we were not disappointed. We ordered different kinds, we had a problem to choose what we really wanted cause the menu is rich and there is a great variety of pizzas. The food was served really in an ultra-speed and it was delicious. Note to ourselves pepperoni in Italian means pepper so if you order pepperoni pizza it doesn`t mean you get sausage on it ; Highly recommended place if you want to eat great pizza for the good price!"

"Hotel zero!! If you are used to passing a broom and sponge around the house every now and then, this place is not for you. If it weren't for the late arrival time and the tiredness I wouldn't have stayed that night either. I don't usually give harsh reviews but to avoid it happening again to others... The photos bear witness to an unpleasant stay!! Hall non-existent, can the chaotic counter of the pizzeria bar be enough? Friendliness in disuse. Kitchen staff who manage the customer welcome between pouring a beer and refilling drinks in the fridges, with the apron in use accompanies them upstairs to the dirty rooms. I had the first room changed because there were stains on the bedspread, hair between the sheets and dental floss on the floor in the bathroom with unswept floors, they told me that it hadn't been completely cleaned because oh well even if the bed and toilet disinfectant had been done , but the second bedroom was also like the first. Poor breakfast for a 3-star hotel: Savory: bread and ham, and that's it. no eggs not even on request. To drink: Tea/milk/yogurt coffee from the dispenser machine, 2 juices, Hunger? 1 frozen cake, packaged snacks, 2 low quality croissants and corn flakes. 1 basket of fresh fruit. The only good location is with municipal parking in front, along the lake. Best regards and never again! "Buongiorno, rispondo alla recensione della signora Ludovica, in merito al 'disservizio ' lamentato dalla suddetta. Premetto che difficilmente rispondiamo alle recensioni, ma trovo spesso ingiusto che il lavoro di tante persone -come nel caso del nostro team- debba essere così pesantemente giudicato da chi pretende di dettare orari di un esercizio che all 'ora in cui la cliente è stata servita, avrebbe dovuto essere chiuso. Forse la signora Ludovica non ha colto il messaggio esplicito dei serramenti che oscuravano l 'interno del locale, ad indicare che una lunga giornata di lavoro si era conclusa, ma le abbiamo preparato un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi locali, anche se avremmo dovuto essere già a casa; forse ritiene che le toilettes di un bar/ristorante -aperto al pubblico dalle 8.00 del mattino- siano autopulenti e dunque utilizzabili incondizionatamente a chiunque sbandieri il diritto di usufruirne; forse la signora Ludovica non ha compreso che il nostro è un servizio esclusivamente diurno: siamo aperti dal mattino per servire cappuccini e brioches, disponibili all 'ora di pranzo, puntualmente presenti per le merende in estate e in inverno, quando chiudono le piste da sci o prima del rientro a casa delle famiglie che vivono la montagna di giorno, magari dal mattino presto, quando noi siamo lì per servirle. Sì, serviamo tutti, ma non siamo servi di nessuno, signora Ludovica. E non occorre essere un esperto di fisica quantistica per comprendere l 'espressione: ' Il locale è chiuso '. Eppure l 'abbiamo servita, sicuramente non accontentata, ma a noi è tornato un tagliere totalmente spoglio di tome, taleggio, coppa stagionata, fontina, speck e focaccia...avrà colto il retrogusto della pulizia del legno, ma nonostante questo ha consumato tutto, senza avanzare nulla. La pretesa di uno sconto potrebbe essere richiesta a fronte di una consumazione incompleta, ma l 'unica cosa che non ha mangiato è stato il legno del tagliere pulito. Perdoni il sarcasmo. Da parte nostra, abbiamo ripulito la nostra affettatrice, rilavato i coltelli utilizzati per porzionare i formaggi e ritirato i salumi che le abbiamo servito. Abbiamo ripulito la macchina del caffè, certo. Per essere sicuri che l 'indomani chi entrerà al mattino chiedendone uno, sia accolto dal profumo dei chicchi tostati ma non bruciati, dalla spremuta d 'arancia pressata di fresco, dal profumo di brioches calde. Queste cose le trova al mattino, a pranzo, nel pomeriggio e persino verso le 18.00, quando la montagna si svuota di anime e restano gli ultimi avventori, alcuni dei quali hanno l 'intelligenza di capire che a tutto c 'è un limite. Non siamo un 'ristorante di un certo livello '. Siamo una baita di montagna. Gente semplice: ci colpisce il menefreghismo e la noncuranza di chi non si rende conto delle fatiche altrui. Non tornerà mai più? La prego, ci dica che è una promessa. Lo staff"
