"We have had the most horrible experience at this restaurant tonight.Where do I start? We was a party of 5 adults and 2 children and thankfully one of our party spoke fluent French (which was our saving grace). The moment the waitress approached us she had a terrible attitude. We looked through the menu and eventually the waitress came to take our order. While ordering our food the waitress was more concerned with what was happening elsewhere. We ordered the meat dishes to be cooked on a hot plate at the table. The wine was put on the table with no glasses and we had to ask another waitress for them along with a beer that was also forgotten. Not a problem really but when the meat arrived it was raw chicken in a dish on the same plate as the salad and chips but the raw meat was touching the chips and salad. A dangerous and unhygienic situation straight away. In the meantime the waitress walked past 2-3 times sniggering or looking at us in a very nonchalant way. Our friend who spoke French mentioned to the other waitress that we wasn't happy with the food as it had been presented to us. It was not satisfactory or hygenic and we also mentioned the attitude from the other waitress. Next thing we knew the waitress aggressively approached us and asked if we had a problem with her...Woooahh excuse me... not a 'sorry but we are busy' or an apology for her attitude but instead a confrontation with us because we had a problem with her. The children could see there was a confrontation starting which upset them. The best part is we was seated on a long table in front of the kitchen so the rest of the diners outside of the restaurant could see all of this unfolding. Very embarrassing for them. Our friend who spoke French explained that we was not happy with her and the way she had started arguing with us. We asked to speak to a manager only to be told SHE was in charge. Well its a disgusting way to speak and treat customers if you are in charge. The waitress was sent away as the other waitresses and staff from the kitchen came out to apologise for her behaviour and to please sit back down. By now because of the waitress attitude and aggressiveness towards us and also the hygiene of the food we refused to stay or pay for anything. We all stood up and walked out. The whole time the waitress who was sent away stood in the alley to the side of the restaurant smoking a cigarette and laughing. Disgusting behaviour towards English customers who tip very well. That was probably 250 or more euros they lost out on because of this one woman. There are plenty of beautiful restaurants in the area for you to eat at rather than this establishment. This woman should never work in this industry. Totally disgusted as it was also our last night in France and it was ruined. I wish I could give them a zero rating to be honest. Will never return and urge anyone to look elsewhere to eat other than here whilst this person is still employed here."

Alright, for an Autumn evening and sitting out..nice to be surrounded by people for a solo traveller..but not memorable.

We had lunch here a few days ago and the tuna dish and fish and chips were very good but tonight the food was all disappointing but service was good.

Really enjoyed lunch here. Had the fish and chips. Service was good and quick. Staff were nice and polite. The scenery was great watching the world go by.

This bar/restaurant is located at a lovely square in the middle of the city of Uzés. We didn't try the food, but the drinks where good and the waitresses where really nice and good looking. Excellent choice!

If you want to be seriously insulted by the waitress and cook your raw chicken on the same stone as your raw beef than go ahead, but If not avoid at all costs. Rudest services I've ever received is an understatement!!!

It was a cold wet day and we were kindly invited to sit in the warmest place. We had the menu du jour. the soup was a hearty vegetable broth. We were given a huge helping for our main course but would have settled for more quality and less quantity. The waitress was pleasant but a bit forgetful.

My friend and I went here to get something to drink. I got a hot chocolate, which was good. But her coffee tasted a bit like water.We wanted some icecream, but they were out of it all and we couldn't have any smothies either. But the service was good when we had to pay. We were missing 60 cents and they told us that we should worry about it - which was very sweet of them! :-)

Located at the city's main square we were a bit afraid this would be a classic touristic rip-off, but absolutely not! The food was good: Children's menu was freshly cooked chicken nuggets, not that instant freezer rubber stuff, with fresh fries. My wife's Ceasar salad was good and my steak with Roquefort sauce was great. We decided to order some dessert as well. The waiter forgot our order. We reminded him. He apologized and decided to give us a cappuccino and espresso for free. That's what I call service! And prices were very decent too.
