Was fortunate to be taken here for a business dinner. Had the tuna steak which was lovely, tasted the steak as well which was also lovely. Was packed on a Wednesday evening which shows how popular it is. Would recommend

I went with my husband to Dusseldorf and found this restaurant by chance. We looked at the menu and found many interesting dishes. We decided to ordered Octopus salad and Winter black truffle pasta. They were good but the waitress was quite unfriendly and spoke..

Would never have expected to find superb Italian food in Germany but it is as good, if not better than some restaurants in the Northeast US. We had reservations but outdoors seating was all full, the weather has been amazing here. We sat inside, table...was comfortable. The service was very good. Food was off the charts great.

Nice Italian resto in the old part of Düsseldorf. We had no reservation but could wait minutes at bar. The of us got an glass of white wine (not on the bill I don’t understand the comments about sitting at a table next...to strangers. That is obvious when you enter. Average visitors here are quiet and respectful, so no big deal. If you are a privacy-king and do not like that, don’t go here. Service friendly. A bit stressy but with a smile. Food is very good! Wines super!Recommended. Why no After paying with a nice tip, I noticed that meals were charged but we did not had those. So I got back at the waiter. He checked and made several excuses while paying back the we paid too much. All in all...

The food was nicely prepared and quite tasty, nothing exceptional though, however the portions were rather small. What was totally appalling and the main reason for NEVER going back was the unbelievable rudeness of the owner? (from what they told us). In the years...of travelling we have never come across anything like it. Bad manners, insulting comments in Italian Language (luckily we had an Italian speaking person in the company) and a very indescreet and annoying hovering over out table once we finished our dinner. If you want to be insulted and treated without any respect whatsoever... this is the place to go to, if however you are looking for a pleasant night out with good food and serv...

Having told a business associate that I would be passing through Duesseldorf, he told me that I had, to visit A Tavola for the carbonara Checking it out first on TA, I saw mixed bag of reviews, with most positive on the food but often...negative on the service. There were higher-rated options for me but I chose to go anyway. Well...let me tell you...they must have done competitors writing these negative reviews to undercut them - because I couldn't have been more pleased with the food, wine, or service.
