Abaton Bistro - Carta

this place is my opinion after one of the typical nice bistros in hamburg. tasty eating, fast service, courtier manager and excellent atmosphere. thank you, arkadasch!

the atmosphere is friendly, as is the personal. eating is in order, but nothing special. I was recently there a few times and it always has the same standard. it is very practical for the cinema opposite.

I had a nice lunch break before this relaxed restaurant. good salad selection with fresh ingredients; the dressing can be quite heavy, but they can simply order their salat. professional, though not very fast service. Ver carta

on a business trip looking for a place to dinner. found this place at the waling and entered. nice hospitality, nice waiter. ordered a pizza and wine. I don't remember the name of pizza, but surprisingly it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. the cream brulet at the end was also fantastic. the prices are fair!

I returned after many years after I was often here in hamburg. nothing has changed: eating is very good and too very fair praise, the service remains excellent, friendly, professional, but charming and humorous, there is the best apple choir you can imagine (apple juice with mineral water) and the public is intellectual / student type. very pleasant place. I'll be back sooner.

the bistro abaton in grindelhof 14a is a German native with a large menu. do not pay attention to super fine eating, but to a decent and plentiful meal. the personal is very helpful and you can change the menu as you like. good beer, good wine selection, good prices. metrobus 4 or 5 from the main station or the youngest (internal city) to stop place grindelhof (direction norden) or subway u1 to hallerstrasse. was here yesterday to see a movie in English. not all the films are in English, so don't forget to ask! we were not allowed to take our freshly prepared beerensmoothies into the cinema as they were not bought there (although they don't sell smoothies in cinemas.) I also saw how a man forced himself to drink his ice before he entered. the film salon was kind of old, but ok! it was a nice place that had also a bistro, but we did not eat there.

if you are in hamburg and want to see a movie in English, the abaton cinema is the right address...but first (or after!) you should eat in the abaton bistro next door. the menu offers many interesting things to eat......Ciege cheese gnocchi with ratoutille, pizza with chorizo, were our choice and were not disappointed. also the salads are creamy and delicious. the service was friendly and efficient, although the hotel was full and many had it in a hurry. the prices were modest. A great bang per dollar! even if they don't see a movie, it's beautiful to shop and just to look around.

the restaurant seems nice and is very close to the university campus. eating is good - but the service is appalling. we have booked a large group in advance and we have been told that we need to give up our order via Google forms. completely acceptable, but difficult to know what to order a week in advance. at the arrival we waited for some time to eat. the service was to be told schroff. when the food was served, some in our group got dishes that they had not ordered, and there were 4 extra dishes. we agreed that in a group of 34 it would not be a big thing. each person in the group went to pay separately after having discussed it on the table - remember that this is a group of mathematicia...
