Waited over an hour for food, after being told it was a half hour wait, the place wasn’t even busy

The social event was truly delightful, with excellent food and top-notch service. I highly recommend it.

Always go there on my break from work and the food and service is always on point and all the staff are really out going.

It's honestly the best chill vibes, some people in here be playin board games. The staff are all the most friendly people you can find. Food is stunning and drinks are great too! Can't fault it! Except maybe there was a little too much turmeric in the turmeric latte

I cannot recommend enough the chicken burger from The Social! Easily one of the top 10 things I have eaten in my life! The vibe of the restaurant is chilled and relaxed, the perfect place to pop in for a pint, brunch, or to use as a work space. Friendly staff and great selection of food and drink. 10/10!!

Can’t lie, this is my first ever review but deffo not going back. Waited over an hour for some pretty tasteless mid food. Told it was going to be 30 minute wait. It weren’t. Bacon had no taste, food looked lovely just weren’t overly impressed. Dates in bacon were alright though. Go back home out now on Spotify.

Unfortunately the initial offering of an all day breakfast was awful. Bacon burnt and baked beans looked like yesterday's leftovers. I had to complain immediately as it was so bad and they refunded without question and gave me a burger and chios that was better. I would say they were friendly and service was good but they need to spend a bit of money on updating the furniture and not servie food that was pretty much inedible.

This is a vibrant bar/cafe, full of very cool young things, mostly on their laptops! It's quite cosy and dimly lit inside, but outside, at the back, there is the most heavenly courtyard seating area. It's a total sun trap and is decorated in striking blue and white. It felt almost Greek in theme! I'm not sure I'm quite the demographic they're after, but my 22-year-old daughter certainly is! Highly recommend, I only had a coffee, but it was excellent.

We had to wait 45 minutes after ordering breakfast. When I asked after 20 minutes, if they had forgotten us, they didn't apologise but came up with the silly excuse that all ingredients are fresh compared to other cafés. I've been living in the UK (mainly in London) for 15 years. Do they think, they are the only café with fresh ingredients? It's not rocket science to prepare a breakfast or do they actually go to a nearby farm to pick the ingredients? Maybe that's what took so long, who knows?
