Absolutely Starving

Don’t have a sweet tooth but picked up a banana coconut cake on the go for my junior. He just loved it and wanted another one There is something for everyone to try. Give it a go.

I feel that the staff here cannot work with a kater. or even work. they are moving in a chick pace and should probably not be in the hospitality industry as they can hide their hats for customers or one another.

the personal is not disturbed to make an effort, they seemed upset to have a bad day. the pastries are located directly in front of the entrance and invite everyone to cough. it is a scandal because the place has great potential. Ver carta

great discovery! Four of us thought coffee and cake. the cakes were really fresh and tasty. it was really cheap in comparison to the great American chain coffee shop near. it had a lot of character in the restaurant and we enjoyed our Pitt stop...here

I’ve been here before and it’s been great so perhaps they are just a bit overstretched at the moment but my food was cold, the staff were unfriendly and there was absolutely no social distancing in place so it felt quite an unsafe place to...eat-in. Probably fine for takeaway.

whether in the mood for a full English, a bacon baguette or a tablet, swing by star absolutelyving. the coffees were excellent and the staff was helpful, happy cutting the fat from the speck and cook it crispy so that the perfect bacon baguette. We could not manage cake after such a delicious breakfast, so instead we bought some to have later. they were fab! Ver carta

I used to like Absolutely Starving. It offered great service and food before March 2020. Sadly since the pandemic, turnover of staff and fewer customers means that the food isn’t as good, customer service is indifferent and some of the food is past its sell...by date. I have also been overcharged by the addition of VAT for eating in when asked explicitly for takeaway. Need to get their act together and fast.

Today I was in that place with my wife, we Enter inside the shop no one welcome us, no greeting nothing was fine and we went order in the hot food section the lady working there she said she is doing only hot food and...we moved next to the till and we did order cake and 2 coffees. I was confused the lady doing hot food cake to make us coffee at the beginning she said she is in hot food and at the end she made us coffees and the coffees like a vomit disgusting we just wasted money and we will never go back there, we asked for semi-skimmed milk and they did not have and she was trying to make coffee without milk. She asked another colleague to bring her milk in half bottle from kitchen or we...

Visited here with my boyfriend on the 12th of June, after a busy morning we were looking for something to fill us up. There was a huge selection of pastries and cakes in the window and so we went in to see what they had...to offer. I must add at this point, my partner is a fairly picky eater and so finding somewhere that he will want to eat can be quite challenging. Anyway, there was a variety of foods to choose from, including pasta, chicken, and a build your own wrap' station. I went for the spicy chicken wrap filled with rice, lentils and a greek yoghurt dressing and my partner went for half a chicken with salad and potatoes (as seen in the photo's).
