"In short: Stunning views for which you pay on the food. You are right on the Achalm, just below the summit and have a really great view of the total surroundings (in good weather you can even see to Stuttgart on the TV tower . The building has a large front on the front side, which can also be enjoyed during the lonely picking process. Opticiously, the solitary restaurant does something right, but unfortunately I also have to make some criticism. Immediately at the arrival, the boarding and the reception is very stabbed and for me they came over almost unfriendly. The food itself is excellent but simply has the double price of a food in a restaurant that is not on a mountain. So I'm just there for a coffee at all, so the service didn't like it that I just drank my coffee and enjoyed some more of the views, I felt more than I should just drink my coffee and then quickly get out of the restaurant! Therefore, you should consider whether you are a client or whether you are simply a paying customer. Nevertheless, I give 3 instead of 2 stars because the idea of such a great mountain restaurant is simply brilliant! But as an alternative, I recommend that the restaurant Waldcafe, which is not so far remote, is also located on the mountain (but below the Alb, as both the views and the hospitality are right there."

Unglaublich gutes Essen und Desserts. Sind zwar keine großen Portionen und der Preis ist etwas hoch, aber dennoch für die Qualität angemessen! Der Service ist noch besser!!! Liebe, zuvorkommende und lustige Kellner die ein saftiges Trinkgeld verdienen. Man wir viel Geld los, aber es lohnt sich auch allemal. Wir werden wiederkommen! Danke vielmals!

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer und ein Abendessen reserviert, ein Zimmer wurde aber bei der Reservierung vergessen. Die Reception war freundlich. Die Zimmer (oberster Stock) haben eine tolle Aussicht, ruhig und die Grösse passt. Die Matratzen sind etwas weich, das Bad war sauber (Gesichtstücher waren leer) Für das Abendessen (draussen unter dem Kastanienbaum) war der Tisch ebenfalls nicht reserviert. Unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber es scheint einen Personalmangel zu geben. Der Sekt war gut gekühlt, die Weinkarte ist etwas sehr klein und bescheiden. Der Salat war gut, der Burger kalt und das Schnitzel fettig und die Pommes weich. Die Dessertkarte ist ebenfalls einfach. Die Preise sind ange...
