Afternoon Tea At Bath

Amazing service! Really relaxing and gorgeous food too. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely the best afternoon tea I’ve had, in the most beautiful setting.

The afternoon tea at this five-star hotel was a bit underwhelming considering the price. The bread was dry and the scones should never be microwaved to heat them up.

We were fortunate to visit this beautiful hotel on a sunny afternoon and were treated to afternoon tea in the garden. While we wished there was a greater variety of cakes, the experience was still delightful.

Beautiful surroundings and the staff were super helpful. We really switched off and enjoyed. The food was great and there was a menu to chose your tea too which was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend and go back.

Know this hotel and enjoyed previously. Tea was served in linking conservatory and felt like a corridor. Staff constantly up down with trollies, chairs clearing up from lunch time do. Food disappointing, though staff friendly. Will be looking for new place to take disabled mother for a treat.

Lovely afternoon tea that catered for gluten free. Our waitress was really attentive and kept refilling and tea pot. The afternoon tea was lovely and even though I had the gluten free as well you wouldn't have known as the sandwich fingers, pastries and scones were amazing. Great service and a lovely view at this spa hotel.

So afternoon tea had here this afternoon, but something was disappointed. The bread was only cut white/granulat with crusts..thin sliced package ham, without imagination.... the 4 small cakes were from a package again nothing imagination. Had to wait 40 minutes until it comes. Another couple appeared 20 minutes after us and got them before us! Definitely not worth £30 per! Compared to other places, it was really not good. The service at this restaurant was not great. Nobody seemed to be looking after us or understanding why we were there, even though we had clearly mentioned that we were there for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. We were initially served standard tea bag tea upon arrival, and had to specifically ask our waiter for the loose leaf tea option for our afternoon tea. The bread on the sandwiches appeared to be a bit hard on the outside and did not seem freshly prepared.
