"We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lit pergola under canvas canopies and very comfortable chairs and roomy tables. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our two Labradors. The food was superb. Honestly some of the best traditional-but-next-level pub fare we’ve ever had. I had the pie of the day which was lamb, husband had Cumberland sausages and the kids had burgers. All completely homemade, served quickly, fresh piping hot and with generous portions. Husband suffered from extreme pie envy when he tasted my dish! We couldn’t resist the puds so opted for sticky toffee puddings and chocolate brownie. Again, all homemade, generously portioned and utterly delicious. The food was so good we decided to spend our final meal here and opted for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin of beef which were served with the best (and biggest! Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever had. We’re from Yorkshire and we know a perfect Yorkie when we see (and taste one and these deserve the highest praise. The beef was perfectly cooked, thickly cut and it melted in the mouth. It was served with a generous portion of roast potatoes, cheesy leeks (a personal favourite! , a selection of perfectly cooked veg lovely rich gravy. Desserts were equally fabulous. Genuinely up there with the best food we’ve ever eaten and exceptionally good value. I just wish it was closer to home as we’d be returning constantly! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Perfect food, wonderful service, lovely ambience and surroundings and great value, more than deserving of five stars. Thank you for two wonderful visits, you were a highlight of our holiday!"

"I had a disappointing experience at this cafe today. The two staff members at the counter were quite miserable. I wanted to order a panini and coffee to go, as the cafe was full. When I noticed some people leaving, I asked the lady at the till if I could quickly eat my panini at one of the tables. The other lady who was cleaning the tables rudely told me that there were people waiting for the table outside, so she had to clean it. I was taken aback by her tone, but didn't say anything. Fortunately, an elderly lady leaving the cafe noticed my discomfort and kindly offered me her table. This made me feel more welcome. When the first lady finally served me my panini, all I could see was her frowning face. I even had to reassure her that I wouldn't take long, but she still didn't say a word. I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I believe that being hospitable and treating customers with kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this cafe and I wouldn't recommend it to others. It's not just about serving food, but also about making customers feel welcome and valued. Sometimes a simple smile can make a big difference."

"this facility found on a laune after a work in the opposite to do. the best fish and chips we've ever eaten! very generous portions and the curry sauce with a twist) is absolutely delicious. I have seen another review here that says that the staff was rude and discriminating that this is so far away from our experience, so I just had to come and leave a review. we are not from the local opposite we are in the did from birmingham) and found the employees to be extremely polite, attentive and friendly. a real credit to the owners. both my man and my little boy enjoyed their food and we will definitely be back when we are back in the opposite!"

"Stopped in after walking back to Broadway from Chipping Camden. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We had a few different things to eat, and a small dessert as well. The food was fantastic! All homemade, right there in the open kitchen. A couple tables inside, and a few more outside. A great, quality snack/small meal in the middle of the day. Loved it."

"We visited in May 2021. It was a bad holiday weekend so very hard to come by a table and had to queue and very busy. The staff were helpful and the service was good. We had the cauliflower wedge and the nourish bowl. The cauliflower wedge was particularly good and totally converted us to cauliflower. A good option in this neck of the woods where there aren’t lots of vegan friendly places"
