"It was a very bad experience! We had our booking/ we got an email to confirm our booking and when we went there, the restaurant was closed! I would imagine that the booking system will be closed if the restaurant is closed? We were a group of 4 aiming to celebrate a special occasion...It went really wrong, very disappointing. For those who have a booking in this restaurant before June, please be mindful of this."

I had a disappointing experience with the afternoon tea; it wasn't worth it. The cakes were quite unappetizing.

Very poor, food was definitely microwaved and bland. Service was ok just one guy however only three tables!!! No atmosphere at all will not be returning!

Delicious afternoon tea and lovely quiet place to eat it, seemed clean and people were well spread out to achieve good distancing. Service was a little slower that ideal but we still had a lovely time. Ver carta

The food was inedible, and the tea was undrinkable. While the staff were friendly and pleasant, the service was terrible. This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I can't understand how this place is still in business.

Had a fab lunch here with friends. Coronation Chicken sandwich was very tasty, big pieces of chicken in a homemade sauce with 3 slices of bread crisps on the side! Second time I have been here for lunch and will definitely return! Highly recommend!

Food and service are very good. Limited menu for an evening due to COVID. Hoping they will still be able to open at Christmas in these dynamic changing times of COVID. We had Christmas dinner here 2 years ago and hoping to do the same again this year. Ver carta

Sadly we ate in there 5 weeks ago and it was the best roast we had eaten out, the staff were amazing. So we booked to go again and it was like a different place. The food was certainly no where near good and the staff were different and a bit bland. Sadly I will not go back after that

Wanted to support a local hotel so tried there for Sunday lunch. The food was tasty although the dessert was a bit disappointing. It did feel like starters and desserts were plated and left not warmed up. However the restaurant had a really homely feel and the staff were friendly and attentive. We would go back.
