they canceled my reservation that I booked a month ago without giving a reason! the worst thing is, I suggested it was my birthday dinner. I responded to their cancellation email, but never got an answer from the reason of cancellation. that is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable.

great food. ridikulös small dishes with long waiting times up to 30-40 min between the ordered. had the 7-course menu, totaling 4 hours and most calorie during the evening, where of white brot, while between the. in my experience other restaurants offer interesting free dishes and more explanation about the wines and ingredients.

I completely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Dusseldorf. I must admit the location is a little outside the normal city centre but so worth it. The service is excellent- very attentive especially for a non German speaking visitor. I had the 5 course menu...with wine and it was worth every Euro. The food is great and the staff are stellar! I have eaten in so many 'great ' restaurants and this is right up there amongst them.

The dinner at Agatha yesterday evening was excellent. We had the scallops, foie Gras and the iberico pork main course. Each course was prepared perfectly with distinctive and delicious flavors. I can highly recommend this casual restaurant. The wine list is extensive with a very...helpful sommelier. We had a nice chat with Agata, who is the owner, about her background and her goals. She is very focused on her customers and her husband who is the chef is a great cook. We will be back.

Spent 2 full days in dusseldorf and had a tough choice to pick between their many Michelin star restaurants. Decided on agatas and it was a choice I never regretted. We did not try their tasting menu but tried just their mains which was the...us beef. It was amazingly good and especially after we were recommended to pair it with this full bodied bottle of red. Price of the beef was euro39 per portion and I think the bottle of red was about euro68. Not too expensive for the quality you get and service was immaculate!!!! Definitely recommend it to everyone who wants a good meal while in dusseldorf.

The food was full of surprises and new fascinating combinations. I.e the white asparagus sorbet. As the...self made bread, just made. The sommelier was astonishing with his knowledge of wines and how to server them. Really remarkable the variety of glasses that they use. One for each wine and bottle. If you eat with different wines, water, beer, you can end using more that 5 glasses per meal.
