By far the most authentic culinary experience that we have had in our 12 days stay in Sardinia. Quality and quantity with the taste of proper home made food. An amazing view over the valley and the coast line. One of the best place that we tried for original food, in the whole island . Oh, and the limoncino :

Authentic Sardinian food! Generous portions!! Since we were there for 5 days, we got varied typical sardinia meals. Room was super clean with air conditioning. The food just keeps on coming. Mke sure that you're ravenous before you go. You'll be about to experience an onslaught of the finest regional cuisine composed of local (within hundreds of metres) ingredients sensitively put together. As well as teh food, the wine is plentiful and really quite decent make sure that you book in advance and leave the car at home.

I went several times in Italy, but this was my first time in Sardinia. Contrary what some people think, not always you can find a nice place to have a great meal in Italy. In Sardinia, is even harder to find that places. Agriturismo Lu Nibaru was our best meal without doubt! The place is very friendly, rustic and cozy, with a stunning sunset. And the food is really good. I strongly recommend this one!

When I was a kid, I used to go to restaurants similar to this one in northern part of Italy. Unfortunately this kind of place is getting rare in Italy. Take the 30 Euros menu and get ready to feast ! Array of antipasti, first course, second course etc... all locally made from agricultural produce. It is a long meal and if you are not a big eater or in a hurry, this is not for you. If you want to sample out what local Sardinian food is about then go for it. Bon appetito!

We had the menu fisso, which was great value at E30 each. This included a carafe each of red and wine wine, (both very drinkable), various breads, a fabulous set of antipasti, a primi plati of various pasta, and a secondi plati of pork (maybe it was boar) and beef. I didn't have room for a dessert or even the fruit! We were staying down the road at Li Reni, and it wa a shame we left this treat to our lat evening, or we would have been back for much more. Another comment on this page references poor service in Sardinia, but this is not something that we found atall! Very highly recommended, and we're not surprised to see that it' No.1 in the Badesi area!

We booked via email to come here on the Sunday evening. It was close enough to walk to from our rental home. The cost of this food is €30 per person and includes antipasto with pickled vegetables and cold cuts served with the local hard and soft Pecorino cheese. Second course is a variety of pasta dishes which were all excellent. Followed by suckling pig and beef. They then provide a basket of fresh fruit and a local dessert to finish. This place is amazing and a must if you are in the area. Booking in advance is required Amazing scenic views of the surrounding area. Truly spectacular! 30 euros per adult and 12 euros for children. A real bargain for what you get. A large selection of antipasti, 3 types of local traditional pasta dishes, main course of roast pork and a pork based cold salad, roast potatoes and tomato and lettuce salad, fruit, dessert which was a fried sort of ravioli with lemon and cheese, water, coffee, liqueurs and a carafe of both red and white wine. We spent six days at the farm LU NIBARU at the end of August 2023. Great location for the beaches of Badesi (baia della mimose, Li Mindi, Li Feruli) and north Isola Rossa, the Marinedda and Canneddi. We were great thanks to the friendliness and sympathy of Salvatore, Mrs. Brunella and the very nice Tecla.
