"ordered a udon, bibimbap and takoyaki the udon looks nothing to a japanese udon! There’re bell peppers, onions and courgette in it, which turns into a vegetable soup base. no japanese udon flavours at all and they call themselves a japanese restaurant???!!!! the takoyaki has...only one drop of mayo on the top (we asked for extra mayo on the side afterwards). normally takoyaki should have some seaweed, bonito flakes and sesame but this dish only has one drop of mayo on top and nothing else. so they are calling themselves a japanese restaurant just because they serve sushi and sashimi?"

best meal I ever had in Britain, many kinds of steaks and directed, good environment to speak and good music.

Lovely place. The staff was really friendly and the food was amazing. We didn't have to wait long for service.

Great service and friendly team. I visited the restaurant with my wife and year old child. High chairs were available and the food was fresh.

We really enjoyed the great food and service. Lovely fresh fish, flavours amazing. Had sushi, shashmi, and a great beef dish (can’t remember the name). Peaceful intimate atmosphere upstairs, our waiter was friendly helped us with the menu. Everything was cooked and made fresh. Thank...you

we were here to eat. that is a good restaurant. decor is typical Japanese style. eating is good, service is excellent. more lively place recommend to book before going. cheap dining room average gbp per head without drinks and desert. seating area is good on the main...Floor as well as in the first floor.

we've eaten here this afternoon and all of us had delicious food. freshly cooked and delicious. I would especially like to mention our waiter who went out of his way to make sure I had a gluten-free meal. (I have celiac disease). I would eat here again, so a shame that I don't live in milton keynes! but I occasionally buy here, so it will visit again. Thank you!

as a long standing fan and customer of Akasaka I was shocked to see that they had put their prices up. for an avocado roll? They’re good but they aren’t London good and their prices are now that of which you’d pay at a...good Japanese London restaurant. There is a new amazing place called dragon sushi also in Milton Keynes, I recommend all those who love Akasaka but don’t want to be ripped off try it out there, amazing quality food but a reasonable price!!

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
