"What can I say- this is one of the best restaurants in all of Usedom. I had set my eyes on this place the first time we came to the Baltic Sea and finally, more than a year later, I got the chance. It is...part of the renowned, luxurious Ahlbecker Hof hotel, and the one quality here that immediately blows your mind is the incredible decor. First of all, it completely reminds you of Thailand- the ornamentation and furniture is all glamorous from the ceilings to the floors. It is completely an experience just to walk to your table and sit down; the friendly waiters and waiters are dressed in a traditional outfit, and everything is served in a luxurious Thai style. This wonderful atmosphere was especially impressive at night, when the lighting from all the lamps correlated wonderfully with the dark glass roof from the sky. The food, in addition, was absolutely delicious and cam extremely quickly (I'd say around minutes after we ordered). I ordered a Mutsaman Curry with crispy duck, and the combination of flavours as well as the texture were lovely. A stereotype of higher end restaurants is that the portion sizes are always small, however I did not even order a appetiser and the portion size was perfect for me here, so they have definitely excelled in that field. Because of this, I found the food and beverages well priced; my dish was however this was one of the more expensive dishes as duck is usually quite high-cost I'd say the average price for a main course would be around or `Euros, and when you take into account the stunning interior and service, this is just the right price for this class restaurant. The only thing I can comment on was the music in the background; instead of playing Thai Music, Whitney Houston was playing during our dinner here. Personally, I didn't mind it, especially already having Thai decor, Thai food and waiters/waitresses dressed in Thai outfits, although I think having Thai music would even further enhance the wonderfulness of the restaurant, making the already unforgettable experience even more unforgettable. There is no doubt I am returning."

"Wir hatten Pasta bestellt. Auf dem Tisch stand ein Schälchen mit einem Teelöffel, wie selbstverständlich hielten mein Mann und ich das für den dazu gehörigen Parmesan. Wir bedienten uns entsprechend und hatten damit unser Essen versalzen. Bei gedämpften Licht war der Unterschied zum Salz für uns nicht offensichtlich. Auch die Gäste am Nachbartisch hielten es für Parmesan, waren aber durch uns gewarnt. Vor allem erwartet man Salz in einem Streuer und nicht im Schälchen und wer benutzt beim Nachwürzen einen Teelöffel. Von daher war das für mich ein Fehler des Restaurants.Mein Essen war nicht mehr zu genießen, wir haben das beanstandet, trafen aber bei der Geschäftsführerin weder auf Verständnis noch auf Kulanz. Ich ließ mein Essen zurückgehen und musste es voll bezahlen. Auf das Ersatzgericht bekam ich einen Rabatt, mein Mann ließ die Hälfte seines Tellers wegen Ungenießbarkeit zurückgehen. Vielleicht ist ein Stück italienische Kultur auf dem Weg nach Usedom verloren gegangen.Die Qualität der Speisen war gut, der Preis noch angemessen, aber der Wein mit 5 € für 0,1 L völlig überteuert."

"Ein richtig gutes sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Für mich war ganz wichtig glutenfrei zu essen. Auf der Speisekarte sind sowohl glutenfreie als auch vegane Speisen beschriftet. Geschmacklich war es sehr lecker. Auch das Creme Brulee zum Nachtisch ist ein Muss. Die beiden Damen in der Bedienung waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant für einem Besuch auf der Insel Usedom."

"Die hier angebotene Fischsuppe verdient nicht, als solche bezeichnet zu werden. Ein Teller heißes Wasser mit einer minimalen Einlage aus TK Fisch und Gemüse,ein paar Krümel getrockneter Petersilie und fertig. Das alles völlig geschmackslos. Der Fischteller, bestehend aus drei Sorten Fischfilet, einen Shrimpspieß , Bratkartoffeln, Gemüse und Hollandaise. Der Fisch war komplett ungewürzt und totgebraten, die Bratkartoffeln ein TK Produkt mit halb verbrannten Speck und Zwiebelwürfel. Statt dem Gemüse orderte ich einen kleinen Salat. Dieser bestand aus matschigem Eisberg in einem Fertigdressing, eine Gurkenscheibe und zwei Tomatenviertel und das ganze direkt auf dem Fischteller. Auf meine Kritik gegenüber der Servicekraft bekam ich zur Antwort: Das machen wir schon immer so und unsere Gäste sind grundsätzlich zufrieden! Das alles war für uns sehr enttäuschend und nicht akzeptabel."

"eating is a dream. during our one-week holiday on usedom we have tried many good restaurants, but in the imperial corner it was most delicious with a distance. the kitchen also takes into consideration smaller change requests.One critical point: the choice for vegetarian could be greater. in particular in the desserts, gelatin is always (unnecessary) processed with the removal of the sorbitols/ice balls."
